    摘要: Method for anaerobic removal of a sulphur compound from waste water containing said compound, comprising the steps of: 1) feeding the waste water to an anaerobic digestion system; 2) converting the sulphur compound in the digestion system to a sulphide; 3) circulating an effluent containing the sulphide from the digestion system in a by-pass channel, said channel comprising a stripper system for stripping the sulphide from the effluent; 4) removing the sulphide from the effluent by contacting with a transporting gas in the stripper system; and 5) converting the sulphide to sulpher; wherein 6) the sulphide is absorbed from the transporting gas in an absorber system by an absorbing liquid, which absorbing liquid is passed in a closed loop through the absorber system and a regenerator system, and comprises a regenerable redox liquor, which redox liquor has a pH-value in the range 4 to 7, preferably about 6.5.

    摘要: A corrosion resistant primer coating comprises one or more corrosion inhibiting additives; and one or more nonaqueous resins, and the method of making and using the primer coating. The corrosion inhibiting additive comprises metal ferrate(IV) compounds, metal ferrate(V) compounds, metal ferrate(VI) compounds, or a mixture thereof (collectively called the ferrate compound). The ferrate compound has a low solubility in water in the range of about 0.00 lppm to about 2000ppm at a temperature in the range of about 0 °C to 71 °C. A method of making the metal- 1 ferrate compound suitable for the corrosion resistant primer coating comprises steps of (a) dissolving a highly soluble metal- 1 salt in water, (b) dissolving and mixing an alkali metal ferrate compound and a metal-2 hydroxide in water, (c) adding the solution of step (b) to the solution of step (a) to form a preproduct, wherein the preproduct comprises the metal- 1 ferrate compound; (d) filtering and washing the preproduct with one or more solvents to obtain the metal- 1 ferrate compound; and (e) drying the metal ferrate compound in a low moisture environment to obtain the dried metal- 1 ferrate compound; wherein the metal- 1 ion and the metal-2 ion are the same or are different from each other.
