Abstract:
The deposition of graphene is accomplished by various techniques that result in a change of the graphene's solubility in the liquid medium. The solubility change enables the deposition of the graphene onto the substrate. Once the graphene is deposited onto the substrate, the at least partially coated substrate may be separated from the liquid medium. The substrates may then serve as a carrier to deliver the graphene to a desired application.

The present invention relates to formulations comprising a) at least two different ZnO cubanes, of which at least one ZnO cubane is solid at SATP conditions and at least one ZnO cubane is liquid at SATP conditions, and b) at least one solvent, method for producing semiconducting ZnO layers from said formulations, the use of the formulations to produce electronic components, and the electronic components themselves.

Nanostructured chemicals such as polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) are added to polymers, followed by in situ surface oxidation to form a glass layer.

The disclosure provides a coating composition having improved opacity comprising a titanium dioxide (TiO 2 ) particle chemically attached to a hollow particle, wherein the hollow particle's size has a volume ratio when compared to the titanium dioxide particle of between 0.008 and 8. These coating compositions comprise inorganic hollow particles which are useful as hiding or opacifying agents.

A method for hardening at a surface a component, the component being formed of a plastics material, comprises softening the component at a surface using carbon dioxide in a pressurised environment having a pressure of less than 74 bar, and incorporating into the component at the surface a material to harden the surface. There is also disclosed a device having one or more surfaces hardened by said method.
