Abstract:
A woven fabric containing an alternating pattern containing first weave zones (210) and partial float weave zones (220). The woven fabric contains a plurality warp yarns (100) arranged into groupings of warp yarns. In each first weave zone (210), the picks of weft yarns (200) contain a repeating first weft pattern. In each partial float zone (220), the picks of weft yarns (200) within the partial float weave zone contain a repeating second weft pattern of at least one monofilament yarn and at least one multiple-inserted multifilament yarn. Within the partial float zone, only a portion of the warp yarns within at least a portion of the warp groupings float over 3 weft yarns including floating over at least one multiple-inserted multifilament weft yarn in at least a portion of weft pattern repeats. An innerduct structure containing the woven fabric is also described.
Abstract:
The invention relates to woven or extruded netting (1) for forming bags (10), with yarns or strips that are securely joined or bound to each other so as to form meshes (2, 3). The meshes of the netting are not homogeneous and the netting comprises: at least one main portion wherein the yarns or strips are bound or connected, forming a first mesh structure (3) that allows said netting to perform its function; and at least one smaller portion wherein the yarns or strips form a second mesh structure (5) that can be broken more easily than the first mesh structure, specifically used to facilitate the opening of the bag made with the netting.
Abstract:
Woven textile structures constructed using dual-loom technology are provided. Filaments are woven in such a way as to create a first set of different discrete layers of the same fabric in some regions of the textile and a second set of discrete layers of the same fabric at other regions of the same textile. The different layers are used to construct various textile structures such as a woven bag with woven channels containing at least one drawstring.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate generally to reinforcement materials for use in reinforcing flexible tank walls, and particularly to hybrid textiles and weaving patterns that have been found particularly useful with such hybrid textiles.
Abstract:
A fabric for an air-bag comprising interwoven sets of warp and weft yarns, wherein the yarns of one of the sets of yarns are tape-like, having a width/depth ratio of at least 1.5, and the yarns of the other set of yarns are not tape-like and have a width-depth ratio less than 1.5.
Abstract:
Materials and constructions for wear resistant textile articles are disclosed. In one exemplary embodiment a first portion of a textile article is made from a woven synthetic fiber material, and a second portion of the textile article is made from a composite material. The composite material may comprise an outer layer of a woven synthetic fiber material, and a backing layer of a woven high performance fiber fabric.
Abstract:
Provided is a liquid curable silicone rubber composition containing the following components of (A), (B), (C) and (D): (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having one or more silicon atom-bonded alkenyl groups on average in one molecule, (B) (B-1) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least three silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms in one molecule, wherein at least one of the hydrogen atoms is present as a siloxane unit represented by the formula of R1HSi02/2 (wherein R1 represents a non-substituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group containing no aliphatic unsaturated bond) in the molecule and (B-2) a linear organohydrogenpolysiloxane having one silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atom only at each of both terminals of the molecular chain and having no aliphatic unsaturated bond(s) in a molecule, [provided that the blending amount of component (B-1) and component (B-2) is an amount such that the molar ratio of silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms contained in component (B-1) and component (B-2) : alkenyl groups contained in component (A) ranges from (0.8:1.0) to (2.5:1.0), and the total number of silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms contained in component (B-2) is 70 to 100% of the total number of silicon atom-bonded hydrogen atoms contained in component (B-1) and component (B-2); provided that when the aforementioned numerical value is 100%, component (B) consists only of (B-2).] (C) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst: an amount to cure the present composition, and (D) 0.1 to 50 parts by weight of a reinforcing silica fine powder. A coated woven fabric with a silicone rubber-coated layer formed of a cured product of this liquid curable silicone rubber composition is suitable as a coated woven fabric for use in airbags.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method, fabrics and machines for producing seamless bags and similar items. The method is characterised in that a weaving loom is used to weave two independent stacked fabrics which are joined transversely at pre-determined distances by interlinking warp threads using weft threads. Simultaneously, independent bands with corresponding selvages along the longitudinal edges thereof are formed in the warp direction in the weaving loom and, subsequently, said bands are fully or partially punched in order to form the bag or similar item. According to the invention, the area between the transverse and longitudinal selvages of one the fabrics to be used includes connecting zones with floating warp threads and connecting zones with floating weft threads. The machine includes means for pulling, tightening and aligning the fabric and means for cutting same in a curved or angular transverse manner.
Abstract:
A monoaxially-oriented polymeric film material formed from an impact copolymer and having increased toughness relative to films that are monoaxially-oriented at conventional temperatures. A process for imparting high cross machine toughness to polymer films comprises forming a film; subjecting the film to monoaxial orientation, drawing the film; tempering the film, and annealing the film.
