Abstract:
A variable-geometry modular structure is described, made of a metallic or plastic alloy, particularly for buildings, comprising at least one modular element, also with variable-geometry, with an honey-comb structure, subjected to be joined to different modular components to obtain different embodiments; the modular element is made of plastic material and has a series of passages in which vacuum is created when manufacturing, through molding or extrusion, the modular element itself; the above modular element is a structural element and has at the same time insulating characteristics. The external surfaces of the modular element have a series of recesses and ribs, shaped as a dovetail, that allow mutually joining two or more elements; such modular elements can further be butt- joined by using male and female posts arranged next to the passages. The modular element is joined to a panel which has a substantially smooth external surface adapted to be assembled at view or a corrugated external surface, which is used for applying plaster or other finishing elements, such as any type photovoltaic panels or tiles.
Abstract:
Precision shaped masonry blocks with four rabbets are new because they are joined by toothed elements (42) of the inserting element (4) that are to be inserted into two parallel rabbets on the upper touching surface and these inserting elements suffer only from axial forces. The rabbets of the upper block rows are placed on smooth parts (41) of the inserting element (4) which protrude from the lower block rows. With usage of tool (6) the block axis' are aligned. When the blocks are in position they are fixed by pressing the toothed parts (42) of the inserting element (4) in the rabbets (14), (24) and (34) on the frontal contact point of the blocks. On the straight part of the wall basic blocks (1) are used, on the angular part of the wall or on the intersection of several wall the angular blocks (2) are used which have built in cylinders (25) that serve as skin panel for vertical pillars. On the floor level trough-like block (3) and (3') are used that serve as skin panel for horizontal armoured concrete girders.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an easily installed modular element for constructing buildings or parts of buildings. The modular element comprises a brick made of moulded synthetic material and superposable on a similar brick, and at least one connection element to fasten together at least two superposed bricks. The modular element of the invention enables walls to be constructed extremely easily and quickly, even by non-specialized personnel. The walls constructed with modular elements of this type present superior anti- seismic properties, a low weight and low heat and sound transmission coefficients.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to prefabricated bricks, more particularly, to prefabricated bricks, which comprise: (a) a body; (b) a plurality of bulbous projections extending upwardly from the topsurface of the body portion; (c) a plurality of concave grooves formed on the bottom surface of the body portion such that they correspond to each projection; and (d) a plurality of through-holes formed between the projections and the concave grooves such that they penetrate through upper and lower sides of the body, wherein they are configured such that each corresponding projection and each corresponding concave groove are engaged with each other to facilitate assembly of a plurality of bricks. According to the present invention, since it is easy to assemble a plurality of the inventive fabricated bricks, the construction becomes simple and the construction period is reduced, and the rigidity is increased due to the formation of a single wall structure. Also, since materials used in the present invention are soil and solidifying agent, which are practical, have a strong durability and show superior shaping capabilities due to the fact that the plasticity can be easily adjusted, construction can be conducted without mortar and Ordinary Portland Cement (O.P.C).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A module for buildings that can be set on top of similar modules by being interlocked therewith, comprising a body (1) made of a binding material and an arrangement of metal reinforcement elements (2), which are stably inserted in said body and are designed in use to co-operate with corresponding interlocking elements of a vertically adjacent module.

Abstract:
A building block arrangement comprises a first layer of building blocks and a second layer of building blocks. The first layer of building blocks includes two spaced apart rows of building blocks whereby a space is provided between adj acent side faces of the building blocks of the first layer. The second layer of building blocks includes two spaced apart rows of building blocks whereby a space is provided between adjacent side faces of the building blocks of the second layer. The space includes communicative horizontal and vertical portions such that that the space at least partially isolates an interior wall portion from an exterior wall portion. The second layer of building blocks is positioned on top of the first layer of building blocks. The second layer of building blocks spans across at least a portion of the space in the first layer of building blocks.
