Abstract:
Roof truss system comprising tie rods (2), struts (1), knee rafters (4), and innovative connection joints (13) to cover buildings, especially suitable for being implemented by plastic materials.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a coupling purlin (1) for which two wooden beams (2, 3) adjoining and overlapping each other longitudinally are connected to each other by fastening elements. The overlapping end areas of the wooden beams (2, 3) are connected by means of screws (5) which are positioned at an acute angle in relation to the adjoining surfaces (6, 7) of the wooden beams (2, 3). Said screws (5) are screwed in along a plane situated at a right angle to the surfaces (6, 7).
Abstract:
An adjustable structural joint (1) is described, composed of a first joint half-body (3a) and a second joint half-body (3b), each one of the half- bodies (3a, 3b) being composed of at least one respective first and second articulated joint portion (5a, 5b), each one of the portions (5a, 5b) being integral with at least one respective first and second connecting portion (7a, 7b), such articulated joint portions (5a, 5b) being mutually connected by interposing fastening means substantially having a first operating position in which such fastening means allow a relative rotation around a common rotation axis (R-R) between such first joint half-body (3a) and such second joint half-body (3b) and vice versa, and a second operating position in which such fastening means block such relative rotation. A building system comprising at least one of these joints (1) is further described.
Abstract:
The present building system solves constructing of large span buildings with flat soffit by composite elements. It comprises full-finished assembling single footing elements (5), two-part composite columns (4) into which the longitudinal large-height upper and lower bearing wall-panels (2) and (3) are inserted, that close the inner space of the building. Roof-ceiling composite elements (1), solve simoultaneously the roof and the flat concrete soffit that is covered by thermal insulation (6). On the upper steel part of the roof construction secondary beams (7) are applied to carry the roof cover (8). The building interior is finished, contains the flat soffit ceiling (1.1) with invisible roof construction whereby the heating volume is reduced and the thermo-isolated, naturally ventilated loft is formed through which instalations (12) can be quided. In one embodiment the entire building can be constructed before the ground plate (9) which is then poured in closed space. The assembling single footing elements enable to construct in winter season too. Economic buildings are constructed quick and easy by small number of large, finished elements that cover large area portion at once.
Abstract:
A truss system utilizing braces to retain the trusses in spaced relation is provided. The braces include a beam with latch means at opposite ends for forming a snap lock connection to adjacent trusses fixing the spacing between the trusses. One latch means includes a yoke which will automatically position the brace in an orientation generally normal to the truss to which the brace is mounted. The other latch means is adapted to mount to an adjacent truss and form an interlock with a second brace extending to the next truss. The braces are lined in a row across a plurality of trusses positioned in generally parallel relationship.
Abstract:
The subject of the present patent is a new kind of cold-formed profile with significantly higher strength, bending resistance and stability in comparison with the profiles used till today. Some other advantages with regard to production consist in using less powerful machines or forming-machines, less thick sheet materials and less steel in the making of the necessary forming rolls for dressing the bending stages of the profile. The profile consists of an only sheet strap forming web (1) and flanges (2, 3) and originating a form like a double Greek T (tau) with two bigger symmetrical parts (2) of double thickness in comparison with the central part and two very flat symmetrical parts (3) of triple thickness if compared with the central part as depicted on the drawing.
Abstract:
A building is constructed from a plurality of rectangular wall sections secured to one another. At least some wall sections are formed of an upper and a lower beam (12), vertical studs (50) extending between the upper and lower beams (12) and a wall panel secured to the beams (12) and to the studs (50). In the invention, each beam (12) is formed of an elongate metal sheet (120) folded through a right angle about at least one longitudinally extending line to define at least a horizontal (123) first plate, and a vertical (121) second. A plurality of separately formed sheet metal brackets (122, 124) are secured to at least one of the plates of the folded metal sheet (120) at preset distances from one another along the length of the beam and secured to the ends of the studs (50).
Abstract:
A tool for fixing purlins to a roof truss including a first rotatable jaw for attaching to a reference purlin and a plurality of spaced apart jaws for holding further purlins that are to be positioned. The tool is rotated to an upright position to accept the purlins to be placed and then rotated such that the purlins are placed on the roof truss in alignment for fixing.
Abstract:
Connection structures of a roof truss using sheet metal and lightweight section steel, the connection structure for connecting an auxiliary roof part to a body roof part, wherein root hardware formed by bending sheet steel is inserted and disposed in the longitudinal direction of the root line of a connection member for connecting a rafter forming the auxiliary roof part to a truss or a rafter forming the body roof part, the connection structure formed of a roof truss top chord or the rafter and a wall crossing each other on the upper surface of the wall, wherein fixing hardware formed by bending sheet steel is disposed at the connection portion of the members to fix the roof truss top chord or the rafter to the wall, the connection structure of the roof truss top chord or the rafter, wherein sheet steel is disposed at the connection tip part to fix the roof truss top chord or the rafter with the end part of a column, and a fixing hardware of box shape having a box support part formed by bending sheet steel is installed at the tip of the sheet steel to fix the fixing hardware to a top part cleat.
