The invention relates to a constant velocity universal joint comprising at least two and at most three mobile parts, an outer element (1) and an inner element (4). One of the two ends of the aforementioned outer element (1) comprises a cavity (3) which is connected to one of the ends of the inner element (4), said end taking the form of a rod or a shaft (2, 7). The other ends of the inner (4) and outer (1) elements are preferably in the form of a sphere (5) comprising a slot (6) which surrounds said sphere partially or fully and from which the shaft (7) extends. Said slot (6) is connected to at least one contact element (11) which is disposed at at least one opening (13) in the above-mentioned cavity (3) in the outer element (1). Moreover, the inner (4) and outer (1) elements remain connected by means of a cover (8) which is nested on and fixed to the outer element (1), thereby covering said at least one opening (13) fully and said sphere (5) in part above the mid-plane thereof. The cover (8) is fixed to the outer element (1) using screws (10) or any other available fixing element. In addition, the invention relates to the rotation transmission device using same.
