The crucible has an electrically insulating or electrically conducting side wall - favourably cylindrical -, a bottom that closes off the space that is delimited by it, and - in a given case - a rim and/or nose bit at the opposite end favourably made from the same material as the crucible. The essence of the invention is that the internal wall surface of the crucible (TS) made of electrically insulating material has ribs (G) extending towards the internal space of the crucible (TS); and the external surface of the crucible (TV) made of electrically conducting material has ribs (G) extending outwards from the crucible.
