The present invention provides a weir quench, an apparatus comprising a reactor and the weir quench and processes incorporating the same. The weir quench incorporates an inlet having an inner diameter (Di) and an upper chamber having an inner diameter (Duc), wherein the inlet inner diameter (Di) is at least 90% of the upper chamber inner diameter (Duc). The apparatus comprises a reactor having an outlet with an inner diameter fluidly coupled with the weir quench inlet, wherein the ratio of the reactor oulet inner diameter (Dr) to the weir quench inlet diameter (Di) is greater than one. The weir quench, and apparatus comprising a reactor and the weir quench, are advantageously utilized in processes utilizing a limiting reagent.

The present invention relates to a system for wet purification of high-temperature gases using a cooling tower and a heat exchanger to cool and purify high-temperature gases at the same time. The system for wet purification of high-temperature gases according to the present invention comprises: a wet purification device including an inlet duct into which a contaminated gas is introduced, an outlet for discharging a purified gas, a cleaning casing for guiding the contaminated gas introduced into the inlet duct towards the outlet direction and a cleaning liquid injection nozzle installed inside the cleaning casing to inject a cleaning liquid for wet cleaning; a cleaning circulation pipe/pump for returning the cleaning liquid inside the cleaning casing of the wet purification device to the cleaning liquid injection nozzle, with the cleaning circulation pump being installed in the cleaning circulation pipe; a cooling tower including a cooling fan installed at the top to lower the temperature of a heated cooling water and an injection nozzle for the cooling tower installed at the bottom of the cooling fan to spray a cooling water; a cooling circulation pipe/pump for returning the cooling water inside the cooling tower to the injection nozzle for the cooling tower; and a heat exchanger for indirectly cooling the cleaning liquid inside the cleaning circulation pipe with the cooling liquid in the cooling circulation pipe.

본 발명은 냉각 타워 및 열교환기를 이용하여 고온 가스의 냉각과 동시에 가스를 정화할 수 있는 고온 가스용 습식 정화 시스템에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 고온 가스용 습식 정화 시스템은, 오염된 가스가 유입되는 인입덕트, 세정된 가스가 방출되는 출구, 상기 인입덕트로 유입된 가스가 상기 출구방향으로 흐르도록 안내하는 세정케이스 및 습식세정을 위한 세정액을 분사하도록 상기 세정케이스의 내부에 설치되는 세정액 분사노즐을 포함하는 습식정화장치와, 상기 습식정화장치의 세정케이스 내부의 세정액을 회귀시켜서 세정액 분사 노즐로 공급하기 위한 세정용 순환배관 및 상기 세정용 순환배관에 설치된 세정용 순환펌프와, 가열된 냉각수의 온도를 낮추기 위해 상부에 설치되는 냉각팬과 냉각수를 분사하도록 냉각팬의 하부에 설치되는 냉각 타워용 분사노즐을 포함하는 냉각 타워와, 상기 냉각타워의 내부의 냉각수를 회귀시켜서 냉각타워용 분사노즐로 공급하기 위한 냉각용 순환배관 및 냉각용 순환펌프와, 상기 세정용 순환배관 내부의 세정액을 냉각용 순환배관의 냉각수로 간접 냉각시키기 위한 열교환기를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

The method includes channeling a flow of syngas into an annular cooling chamber having a longitudinal axis, injecting a cooling fluid into a manifold such that the cooling fluid is channeled substantially circumferentially about the annular cooling chamber, and discharging the cooling fluid from the manifold such that the cooling fluid contacts a surface of the cooling chamber at a predetermined angle relative to the axis of the cooling chamber.

It comprises of a shaft (4), propeller (6) to suck water from below and feed it upwards, the said propeller (6) being surrounded by a pipe (24) through which the water sucked by the propeller (6) flows upwards, and the inner diameter of the said pipe (24) being considerably larger than the diameter of the propeller (6), a flange (3) to guide water to the sides, and a motor (1) that rotates the propeller (6).

In the majority of heat or electricity production devices, of which nuclear reactors form a part, an exchange of heat between two circuits with either liquid or gas flows must be achieved. Tube heat exchangers are mainly used, in which tubes which run within one fluid, have a flow of the other fluid. In the case of high temperature reactors, said tubes are subject to corrosion and puncturing. The invention relates to a device for carrying out heat exchange and several reactor layouts optionally provided with devices for simple extraction of heat from said reactors. In the inventive embodiments, nuclear reactors are given, the device, however, is applicable to other technologies. The principle of the exchanger (10) is the injection of gas (9) into the liquid (8). The whole is mixed then separated by centrifugation, generated by one or several screws (12) and (48). The liquid (8) is recovered in a collector in the form of a torus (22) and the gas (9) by means of a diffuser (13).

The invention relates to a steam injection module (1), suitable for a unit for the pasteurization or sterilization of liquid to highly viscous food products. A steam tube (2) passes through a product line section (3), transverse to the longitudinal axis, made homogeneously from a single material by cutting with no welded seams. Within the product line section (3) the steam tube (2) comprises steam outlet openings (7), through which the hot steam at about 150 C is injected into the flowing product. The product line section (3) and the steam tube (2) are each fixed by fixing flanges (8, 8', 9, 9') in the total line set of the unit.
