Abstract:
An arrow device with dual destructive function is provided, which provides a second extended destruction by explosion of explosives carried within the arrow device in addition to a penetrative destruction caused by kinetic energy of an arrow. The arrow device with dual destructive function comprises an arrow body (101) and an arrowhead (102), wherein the arrow body (101) comprises a hollow tube, the hollow tube is provided with an inertial body (103) therein, the arrowhead (102) is of a hollow structure and is provided with a hole structure communicating the hollow structure of the arrowhead (102) with the outside. The hollow structure of the arrowhead (102) is equipped with explosives or ammunition therein. An isolation mechanism is provided between the arrowhead (102) and the hollow tube of the arrow body (101). A firing mechanism for firing explosives or ammunition is provided on the isolation mechanism or the front end of the inertia body (103). The arrow device achieves firing kinetic energy for a second destruction therein by using inertial force generated by kinetic energy of an external carrier so as to perform firing. That is to say, compared with the conventional arrow device, with the same level of power, the arrow device with dual destructive function in the present invention may greatly expand power of weapons destroying target with use of kinetic energy.
Abstract:
A remote treatment system may include a cone assembly including a spine and a cone body at least partially surrounding the spine, a marking payload, a syringe coupled to a portion of the cone assembly and adapted to store a syringe payload for treating a target, and a vanes cup. The vanes cup may have an inner diameter sized to receive an outer diameter of the syringe. The vanes cup may also include stabilization means for stabilizing the remote treatment system. Further, a pressure means within the vanes cup may be configured to apply a pressure against the payload within the syringe. In response to an impact between the cone assembly and the target, the payloads are expressed from the remote treatment system.
Abstract:
A drug delivery system is disclosed which may be a throwaway or reusable device for delivery at least one drug to a patient. Also described is a method for administering a drug using said device and a packaged drug for use with said device. The drug delivery device (10) comprises a housing (12), a means (14) for generating a force capable of pushing a drug (16) from a packaging (18) into a human or animal body, a means (20) for transmitting said force to push the drug (16) from the packaging (18) into the human and animal body, and a means (38, 42b) for triggering the device. Where the device is a single use drug delivery (10) a packaged drug (100) forms an integral part of the device. The packaged drug (100) comprises packaging (18) containing a drug (16), having a housing (18a, 18b) wit a channel (106) running there through and in which is disposed a drive pin or other element (108), a skin piercing means (110, 112), and the drug (16), said housing (18a, 18b) further comprising a region (102) allowing the packaged drug (100) to be slidably mounted to the drug delivery device (10) and an end (104) adapted to engage and tension the skin.
Abstract:
The device and defence system planned for the protection of airplanes against terrorists and hijackers is described with the following characteristics: It's complex and coherent, and it consists of an extremely strong and hard ceiling cover which is made of plastic or kevlar strengthened by carbon-fibre, and this false ceiling is used in the corridors between the pilot and passenger cabins and in other relevant areas and rooms that has got a great importance in the defence system, and there are hidden launchers - for firing sleeping bullets which cause unconciousness or a paralysed state - placed on mountings above the false ceiling and they can be moved synchronised from the cockpit with hidden mini cameras by electromotors in every direction which are camouflaged as relieves or decorations, and they are connected with the pilot cabin by multy-plug cables or wireless remote transmitters where a security officer is constantly checking the central computer and its monitors to be able to divert any danger in time with the help of the hidden mini cameras and launchers if a terrorist or hijacker attack takes place on the board.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a non-lethal projectile (10) to be fired using a paintball gun, and more particularly, but not exclusively, to an aerodynamic non-lethal projectile (10) which is used for marking, inhibiting or administering medicinal or other chemical substances to live targets. According to a first aspect of the invention, there is provided a projectile (10) comprising a body (12) shaped to receive a capsule (14) containing a substance, the body (12) having a stabilising member (16) connected thereto for stabilising the projectile (10) in flight when the projectile (10) is discharged from a weapon, and an annular member (18) connected to the stabilising member (16) at a rear end of the projectile (10) for positioning the projectile (10) relative to the weapon and relative to other projectiles (10) to be discharged by the weapon.
Abstract:
This invention relates generally to the field of non-lethal weapons for immobilizing a live target for capture and more specifically to such a weapon having a wire-tethered projectile configured for long distance usage by employing wires carrying positive and negative polarities from a high voltage source and contacts for applying the voltage across the target, the distance between the contacts on the target being substantially constant irrespective of distance to the target.
Abstract:
A plunger (19) located in the barrel (18) which is in sealing engagment with and movable along the barrel towards or away from the needle and an aperture (23) extending from the barrel rearward of the plunger in its loaded position communicating between the tubular member (10) and an area in the barrel rearward of the plunger, sealing means (21) mounted on the syringe rearward of the aperture and sealingly engaging the tubular member.
Abstract:
A tranquilliser dart has a head (1) of certain outside dimension, releasably fixed to a barrel (2) of substantially smaller outside dimension. This barrel contains a rubber piston (5). The aforementioned head possesses an integral hypodermic needle (7), this needle has a hole in the side, near the said point. The hole in the needle is sealed by a rubber sleeve (6). Permanently fixed to the barrel (2) at the opposite end to the head (1) is a flight ring (3) and a one piece ventable valve (4). The said valve allows compressed air to be pumped into the rear of the dart by means of a venting needle (8) and ordinary hypodermic syringe (9). The said valve (4) maintains the air pressure during use of the dart. The said valve also allows the air pressure to be drawn out of the rear of the loaded dart by means of the venting needle, thus making the dart safe.
