Abstract:
A process for the recognition, characterization and classification of foods and nutrients present in foods, comprising the steps of spectral measurement of foods by means of a NIR + SWIR precision spectrometer, b) processing of said spectral measurements in the range from 700 to 2500 nm to identify the characterizing wavelengths of foods and identify reduced spectral areas of the wavelength intervals that characterize each food for the creation of a reference database, reflection spectral measurement with portable compact instrumentation, having lower spatial and spectral resolution of the spectrometer used in said step a) for a measurement in said reduced spectral areas and processing of discrete spectral signatures obtained for said intervals, comparison and identification of the food based on the spectral features obtained in said step c) with said reference database.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for managing a residual content in a food product during a milling process comprises a detecting member (100), a computation member (200) and a diverting member (300). The detecting member (100) implemented with a light emitting member is configured to permit irradiation on the food product by a predetermined wavelength of light energy in a near-infrared (NIR) spectrum. The detecting member (100) is configured to measure values of at least one of residual content and constituent concentrations after the irradiation. The computation member (200) configured to indicate a grade quality of the food product by computing a compared value by comparing a predetermined value with the measured value. The diverting member (300) configured to divert the food product to respective chambers based on the computed compared value of the at least one of the residual content and constituent concentration.

본 발명은 근적외선을 이용한 폐종양 스크리닝 방법에 관한 것으로서, 흉벽 종양의 위치까지 조사되는 근적외선을 체내에서 체외로 상기 흉벽을 통과해서 투영 입사시키는 단계와, 이를 검출하여 상기 흉벽 종양의 음영을 영상화하는 단계를 포함하여 수행되며, 흉벽 종양으로써 악성종피종을 조기 진단하기 위해서 석면 노출 전력이 있는 고위험군에 대하여 정기적으로 스크리닝을 할 필요가 있는데, 본 발명에 의한 진단방법으로 악성중피종의 조기 진단이 가능해지는 효과가 있다.

A method of obtaining a spectra on a hydrocarbon containing sample, that may include (A) contacting the sample with an ionic liquid to create a prepared sample, and/or may also include, (B) processing the prepared sample through a spectroscopic system to obtain a spectra corresponding to the sample, wherein the spectra is suitable for determining the presence of and identity of any organic materials present sample. The sample may comprise soil, fluids, plants, drill cuttings, drilling mud, cores, water, blood, food, formation tester samples, or combinations thereof.

A method of analyzing crude oil that may include the step of contacting the crude oil with an ionic liquid to form a treated sample. The method may further include determining presence of RAD in the treated sample.
