Abstract:
A device, method, and computer-readable media for managing interrupt times for content items based on metadata encapsulating user behavior. A user controls the playback of content items such as audio or videos. The content items may be episodes in a programming series. Tags are associated with the content items. These tags include metadata having playback time of the received user interactions. In turn, the device processes the tags to identify user interaction that include stop events for the content items. The tags are processed based on a sliding time window. The playback times of the stop events are selected as potential interrupt times that the device may include recommendations for unaired episodes. The selected interrupt times are also used to identify inconsistencies in the metadata.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A method for creating a stream of content for an audio system is provided. The method includes obtaining text metadata identifying each audio track of a selected collection of audio content, the selected collection of audio content being selected for playback from a first audio playback device of the audio system, and forwarding the text metadata identifying each audio track of the selected collection of audio content to a digital audio source to enable the digital audio source to select audio content containing additional audio content based on the text metadata.
Abstract:
When automatically populating medical report templates, insertable macros are indexed and searched not only my name or title but also by contents, such as keywords times, pre-defined terms for key information included in the macro, free texts in the macros, etc. When a unique macro is found, the system inserts the text of the macro into the report being generated. If multiple related macros are found, the system highlights the macros for user review. After the insertion of the macro into the template, the system identifies predefined terms and fills in the key information value(s). The system thus facilitates, e.g., radiologists' observation reporting procedure through an intelligent matching algorithm that facilitates finding a unique macro, which in turn aids in filling in report field instance values and optimizes radiology workflow.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing enhanced user interfaces and functionalities for internet radio applications are presented. In some embodiments, a computer system may provide a user interface that includes one or more regions configured to control playback of an internet radio station. The computer system then may determine, based on music purchase history associated with a user account, whether a selected song associated with the internet radio station has been previously purchased. In response to determining that the selected song has not been previously purchased, the computer system may display a user-selectable control that enables the selected song to be purchased. On the other hand, in response to determining that the selected song has been previously purchased, the computer system may display a user-selectable control that enables the selected song to be downloaded.
Abstract:
Mechanisms are provided for receiving a graphical input from a user, such as a sketch, determining at least one musical element represented by the graphical input, identifying at least one item of musical content including the musical element(s), and providing for presentation of the at least one item of musical content to the user, such as by creating a playlist for the user of the identified content. Certain musical elements represented in the graphical input may be emphasized or deemphasized to indicate a dominance of the particular musical element in the desired musical content. The graphical input may be modified by the user to allow the user to iteratively search for music in a dynamic, real-time manner.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are provided for personalizing new song suggestions for a user. A plurality of users provides thumbs up and thumbs down ratings for a pair of songs (song A and B). A first aggregate rating for song B is calculated based on ratings given to song A by all of the users that gave a like rating to song A. Similarly, a second aggregate rating is calculated for song B based on ratings given to song B by all users that gave a dislike rating to song A. Then a user that has not previously rated song B, supplies a rating for song A. A prediction is performed of how the user will rate song B based on the user's rating of song A. For example, the first aggregate rating for song B is used if the user rated song A positively.
