Abstract:
A method comprising receipt of information indicative of a capture image from a camera module, determination of capture contextual information that comprises at least one categorical capture contextual information, identification of a recipient to receive a representation of the capture image, determination of recipient contextual information that comprises at least one categorical recipient contextual information, determination that the categorical capture contextual information differs from the categorical recipient contextual information beyond a categorical contextual information difference threshold, generation of a recipient image based, at least in part, on the capture image, such that the recipient image comprises a categorical contextual information difference indicator that is based, at least in part, on the categorical capture contextual information, and causation of sending of the recipient image to the recipient is disclosed.
Abstract:
There are provided methods and systems for processing a composite video image. The composite video image may be a combination of an image and at least one encoded screen capture at a communications apparatus either by a user or in accordance to pre-determined settings for the user's consumption and transmission to a network. Transmission to a network may be simultaneous during the user's consumption. It is advantageous that encoding of the at least one screen capture is independent of at least one application running on the at least one secondary device. It is possible that the at least one screen capture may or may not have audio signals.
Abstract:
A multimedia device includes input ports dedicated to receiving a real-time media signal and a processor system dedicated to capturing the real-time media signal. The processor system defines an embedded environment. The input ports and the processor system are integrated into the multimedia capture device. The input ports include an audio input port and at least one of a visual-capture input port or a digital-image input port.
Abstract:
Image capture methods and devices are provided. The image capture device (10) comprises: an image capture system (22) ; an audio capture system (70) ; a user input system (34) having a manual mode selection input (67, 68) , said user input system generating a mode selection signal indicating a setting of the mode selection input from among a plurality of settings; and a controller (32) adapted to cause the image capture unit (22) to capture at least one image and further adapted to cause the audio capture system (70) to capture an audio signal within an audio capture time frame beginning at a start time and ending at an end time with said controller (32) further adapted to associate the captured image with the electronic audio signal; wherein said controller determines (80) at least one of the start time and the end time determined based upon the mode selection.
Abstract:
An image retrieving apparatus for retrieving a plurality of original images from a recording medium on which a plurality of original images taken are recorded, includes an index retrieving unit for retrieving an index manifest file from the recording medium; an asset manifest retrieving unit for retrieving an asset manifest file from the recording medium by using a path, stored in the retrieved index manifest file, to the asset manifest file; and an image retrieving unit for retrieving at least a part of the plurality of original images from the recording medium by using a path, stored in the retrieved asset manifest file, to each of the plurality of original images, wherein the recording medium includes the plurality of original images; the asset manifest file storing the path to each of the plurality of original images; and the index manifest file storing the path to the asset manifest file, and the index manifest file is stored on a predetermined path which is not different for each recording medium.
Abstract:
A method for providing information with digital images includes receiving a digital image of a subject, the digital image including as metadata a geographic position of the subject and other information associated with generating a path to the subject. A path to the subject from the source location can then be generated based on a geographic position of the source location and the metadata included with the digital image. The metadata can be stored on a mobile device and an alert provided when the mobile device is near the geographic position of the subject or if a trajectory of the mobile device does not match the generated path. Relationships with other digital images having associated metadata may also be included. Thus, users have the ability to use their image capture devices to intelligently share digital images of subjects and knowledge of the subjects, delivering greater value from these devices.
Abstract:
The data structure includes a playlist area storing at least one playlist. The playlist includes at least one playitem and at least one sub-playitem. The playitem provides navigation information indicating at least one still picture from a first file to reproduce and provides duration information for display of the still picture, and the sub-playitem provides navigation information for reproducing audio data from a second file.
Abstract:
A method and system for incorporating textual and audio material into a JPEG file in a manner allowing both a photograph and the textual material to be stored as one unit and transferred as one unit. The textual materials stored in various photograph tag markers which become part of the JPEG file. The JPEG file including the textual material can be transferred to an authorized user who could edit the file based upon password security. The textual materials can appear around any of the borders of the photographs or can be directly embedded into the photograph.
Abstract:
An image and audio reproducing apparatus comprises a display device, means for storing a picked-up image data, audio data which is generated before and at a pick-up timing of the image data and time data indicating the pick-up timing, means for reproducing the audio data, means for reproducing the image data to display an image on the display device, and means for controlling the image data reproducing means based on the time data to inform the pick-up timing.
Abstract:
An image printing apparatus includes a print head for printing images. A microcontroller that includes a wafer substrate is provided. Processor circuitry is positioned on the wafer substrate. Print head interface circuitry is also positioned on the wafer substrate and is connected between the processor circuitry and the print head. The print head interface circuitry is configured to facilitate communication between the processor circuitry and the print head. Bus interface circuitry that is discrete from the print head interface circuitry is connected to the processor circuitry so that the processor circuitry can communicate with devices other than the print head via a bus.
