Provided are methods and systems for providing compensation for using a mobile payment service. The method may commence with receiving payment information associated with a user. The method may include generating a unique code encoding the payment information and providing the generated unique code to the user. The method may continue with receiving a deposit amount associated with a purchase related to the user. The purchase may be made via the mobile payment service. The method may further include receiving a notification about a further purchase of the user via the mobile payment service. The notification may include at least the unique code and a product barcode. The product barcode may be associated with the further purchase. The method may further include providing a compensation from the deposit amount to the user. The compensation may be associated with a payment amount associated with the further purchase.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for incentivizing computerized personalization of content delivered via a digital medium are disclosed. An embodiment of the method includes receiving, via a content subscription server, at least one indicator of content item deselection from a predetermined content subscription package having a plurality of digital content items. The method further includes determining, via the content subscription server, a subscription state for a user based on removing digital content corresponding to the at least one indicator of content item deselection from the predetermined content subscription package, as well as determining, via the content subscription server, an incentive balance for the user based on the at least one indicator of content item deselection. The method additionally includes reducing, via the content subscription server, a content acquisition price for the user based on the incentive balance.

Quponer (QR) is a mobile application based marketing and shopping discount generator tool. The solution is utilizing Its own social portal's inner community, plus other well established social communities, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ to enable users to receive instant discounts for their purchase in exchange for putting "advertisement" on their own newsfeed site. This is what QR calls „virtual word of mouth" effect where users share the main information about a great deal they made on a purchase with their on-line friends in social networks. The operation principle is very simple: user checks into a store, takes a selfie/product photo prior to the purchase with a mobile device, identifies the product via barcode scanning tool, converts the photos into a "QR q-pon", post the automatically generated "QR flyer" to his/her messaging wall, and after this marketing activity he/she gets an instant discount coupon to his mobile device which can be utilized at cashier for the product purchase. The process runs in real time with the help of integrated IT solution which eliminates the coupon usage problem of today where all customers are annoyed with lost/forgotten coupons of last shopping.

A system and method for execution of financial and data transactions includes a point-of-sale device configured to execute a transaction in which at least one good or service is sold to an individual having a card with a storage medium encoding a card number. The transaction is completed after said point-of-sale device receives a data transmission authorizing said transaction. The point-of-sale device is configured to communicate via the Internet with a first computing system. The first computing system stores a set of instructions that cause the first computing system to evaluate the transaction to determine whether the transaction is to be authorized, and to send a transmission authorizing the transaction via the open network to said point-of-sale device.

Handling electronic coupons includes accessing information indicating association of an electronic coupon with an account of a user that identifies multiple retail entities associated with the user. Information indicating association of electronic coupons with the user's account may be transmitted to respective computer systems associated with the multiple retail entities. The computer systems may associate electronic coupons with the user such that the user may redeem the electronic coupons at a retail store upon presentation of a user identifier. When the user redeems an electronic coupon, cancellation information for the electronic coupon may be transmitted to the computer systems of other retail entities associated with the user. Receipt of the cancellation information may cause the respective computer systems to cancel the redeemability of the electronic coupon such that the user is prevented from redeeming the electronic coupon at a retail store associated with the corresponding retail entity.

A method for tracking advertising effectiveness includes causing an advertising code with an advertisement to be printed, the advertising code identifying the advertisement, the advertising code capable of being scanned by a handheld device of a potential customer. The potential customer is then provided with an incentive to scan the advertising code, a value of the incentive being stored on the handheld device. Information is received on the advertising code scanned by the potential customer and as a consequence reducing the value of the incentive stored on the handheld device. A handheld device and system are also provided.
