    Abstract: An electromagnetic relay in which a contact mechanism section (50) provided on a base (10) is driven by a card (60) which slides in parallel with the axis of an electromagnet section (20) provided on the base (10) in response to the excitation and demagnetization of the section (20). A guide section (17) which controls the position of the card (60) is provided on the base (10). Therefore, the electromagnetic relay has stable operation characteristics and can be manufactured with a high producibility. The contact has a long life.
