Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention embodiments relate to wireless communication field, and disclose a data sending control method and a data transmission device. The invention involves receiving data from a sender for storing in the buffer, and forwarding the buffered data to the receiver; receiving ACK that represents having received data returned from the receiver; adding or deleting ACK returned from the receiver according to the volume of data unsent in the buffer, sending the processed ACK to the sender, through the processed ACK controlling the sending rate of the sender, and making the transmission of data reliable and highly efficient.
Abstract:
A system and method for transporting data units for a communication network. In a communication (1) between two peers (10, 13) a proxy (11) and a network entity (12) for controlling a partial communication are provided. One or both of the proxy (11) and the network entity (12) is arranged to modify one or more of the data units, in order to provide communication control related information that is different from communication control related information exchanged between the two peers (10, 13). The respective other or both of the proxy (11) and the network entity (12) is arranged to perform data unit transmission control based on the different communication control related information.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer readable media can be operable to facilitate the spoofing of domain name system requests by a customer premise equipment (CPE) device. The CPE device may detect and block a DNS (domain name system) request received from a client device, and the CPE device may generate a DNS response that includes a pre-configured redirect address. The CPE device may block an identified DNS request when the CPE device is unable to retrieve content associated with the DNS request. The CPE device may output the DNS response to the client device from which the DNS request was received, and in response, the client device may output a request on the pre-configured redirect address that is included within the DNS response. The redirect address may direct the client device to an alternate content source.
Abstract:
A system, a method, a device, and a computer program product for transmission of data packets between a user device and a server. A transmission control protocol proxy component for establishing a communication link between the user device and the server in accordance with a transmission control protocol for transmission of a data packet between the user device and the server is provided. The data packet is transmitted utilizing the transmission control protocol.
Abstract:
A wireless device couples an electronic device employing a wired-link protocol to, for example, a wireless personal area network (WPAN). The wireless device comprises a wired interface configured for coupling to the electronic device, a wired transceiver coupled to the wired interface, the at least one wired transceiver configured for functioning as a terminus of a wired link coupled to the electronic device, and a wireless transmitter or transceiver coupled to the wired transceiver and configured for functioning as a terminus of a wireless link in the WPAN. The wireless device may be configured for coupling a plurality of dissimilar wired devices together via a wireless link.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a dual mode service platform within a network communication system. In one embodiment, a dual mode service platform within a network communication system may be provided by intercepting packets communicated between a client and a server and determining from the packets whether a connection between the client and the server matches a predetermined service criteria. If the connections matches the predetermined service criteria, the connection between the client and the server may be broken to form a first connection between the client and a service application and a second connection between the service application and the server in order to perform application-specific manipulation of data in accordance with a first mode. Otherwise, transmission of packets communicated is regulated between the client and the server in order to process the packets in accordance with a second mode.
Abstract:
One innovation includes an apparatus, for wirelessly communicating with a communication system via a first wireless channel and a second wireless channel, including a memory unit that is configured to store a first data packet and a second data packet, the first data packet and the second data packet have consecutive sequence numbers. The apparatus further includes a processor configured to retrieve the first data packet and the second data packet from the memory unit, a transceiver that is configured to transmit the first data packet to the communication system via the first channel, to receive a first acknowledgement from the communication system and to transmit the second data packet to the communication system via the second channel after the processor detects that the first acknowledgement comprises a positive acknowledgement of the first reception information.
