An image processing apparatus displays, in a display unit including a touch panel, image data for one page including a plurality of document images which are arranged. When a user performs a flicking operation on the touch panel, the image processing apparatus shifts a display region displayed in the display unit from a first region to a second region of the image data in accordance with a direction of the flicking operation. When one of the arranged document images corresponding to the image data is included in the second region, the image processing apparatus performs shift after changing a shift destination so that the document image is displayed in a predetermined position of the display region.

Printing is done by selecting a sheet storing unit used in a print job from the sheet storing units in accordance with the attributes of the front and back surfaces of a sheet that are set by a print job from an information processing terminal and the attributes of the front and back surfaces of a sheet set in each sheet storing unit.

A remote user interface (RUI) for a personalization document printer of an instant issuance system is provided. The RUI includes a printer functionality component and a server functionality component. The server functionality component is configured to allow, for example a user to control user authentication to use the printer, control print queues of the printer, control print workflows of the printer, control RUI configuration, control remote access to printer user functions and a print preview displaying an image of the customized personalization document with image data and personalization account data, control storage and rendering of data to be placed on a customized personalization document, lock and unlock access to supplies and/or personalization documents in the personalization document printer, access administrative functions, and provide quality assurance functions.

A printing apparatus is disclosed that is suitable for controlling a barred access, with a front port for inserting and expelling tickets, sensor means for reading a ticket introduced into the port, an input/output interface and thermal printing means controlled by an electronic processor comprising a memory that can contain a script including an instruction to activate the printing means in response to an input signal received from the sensor means or via the interface and an instruction to send an output signal via the interface in response to a signal emitted by sensor means. A computerised central system, arranged outside the printing apparatus for controlling the barred access, is associated with the printing apparatus by means of an initial system configurations that is simplified.

An electronic device includes: a reception section to receive attribute information of input items inherent to an installed program as the input items for authentication; a storing section to store the attribute information; a display controlling section to display an input screen on a display section for entering the input items inherent to the program in addition to common input items for multiple programs based on the attribute information stored in the storing section, in response to an execution command from the program; and an indicating section to indicate input values for the input items inherent to the program to the program with respect to the inherent input items.
