Abstract:
The invention relates to a belt, strap, conveyor belt (20) with a carrier tissue (2) in which at least one electrically conductive loop (4) is embedded. The conductive loop is sawn on the carrier tissue (2) so that conveyor belts (20) with conductive loops having an extremely thin cover layer (22) may also be provided.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an improvement for conveyors comprising mobile elements sliding on fixed elements such that at least a mobile element consisting of a polyamide mixture (A) slides on a fixed polyacetal element and/or such that at least a mobile polyacetal element slides on a fixed element consisting of a polyamide mixture (A).
Abstract:
A module (12) for a modular conveyor belt is of a microcellular polymeric foam produced by an injection molding process. The foam polymeric material exhibits excellent mechanical properties required for modular conveyor belts capable of withstanding long service lives. Also, the reduced weight in comparison to conventionally molded modules (12) helps decrease wear on the conveyor belt support structures including the drive sprockets.
Abstract:
A conveyor belt which is constructed such that a reinforcing layer composed of a synthetic fiber cloth is embedded between an upper surface cover and a lower surface cover. The synthetic fiber cloth has a cutting extension of at least 25 % in a longitudinal direction of the belt and an extension of at most 1.5 % under a load which amounts to 10 % of a cutting load.
Abstract:
A two-material hinge pin for hingedly interconnecting consecutive rows of belt modules together into a modular plastic conveyor belt. The hinge pin includes an interior rod surrounded by an outer tube. The interior rod is made of a rigid material, such as acetal, nylon, polypropylene, PVC, or steel. The outer tube is made of urethane, which provides inherent abrasion resistance in contact with the belt modules and is especially effective in abrasive environments.
Abstract:
A modular chain link for use in constructing a modular conveyer chain. The modular chain link includes a plurality of link ends which are adapted to intermesh with link ends on a similar adjacent link. The link ends include openings which are substantially axially aligned with openings on the adjacent link ends. The openings are adapted to receive a connecting pin for pivotally joining the adjacent modular chain links together. The modular chain link is injection molded from a polymer and comprises less than about 30 weight percent of filler in order to maximize the mechanical properties of the modular chain link.
Abstract:
A rubber composition for footwear, conveyor belt covers, rolls, hoses, electric wires, rubber-coated fabrics or grips, which comprises (A) an elastomer, (B) 5 to 150 parts by weight of a filler, and (C) a polysiloxane represented by general formula (I) (wherein R , R , R , m and n are each as defined in the specification) and having an average degree of polymerization of 3 to 1000 at a specific (C) to (B) ratio; and footwear, conveyor belt covers, rolls, hoses, electric wires, rubber-coated fabrics and grips made from the composition.
Abstract:
An industrial fabric of monofilament of polyphthalamide having recurring units including copolymerized hexamethylene diamine and mixtures of copolymerized terephthalic acid, isophthalic acid, and adipic acid. The monofilament has excellent hydrolysis, chemical, and abrasion resistance. It is particularly useful for the cloth in the forming and pressing sections of a papermaking machine.
