    摘要: A system actively regulates the fluid pressure entering the pump (16) of a fluid-dispensing system to provide a more uniform fluid flow exiting the pump (16). The pump (16) is supplied with fluid from a pressurized reservoir (15) (e.g., that is pressurized from an external air source (19), or by mechanical or electrically-driven pressurization). A pressure sensor (17) monitors the fluid pressure in the fluid supply line (23) between the reservoir (15) and pump (16). A controller (21) receives this fluid pressure reading as an input to regulate the pressurization of the reservoir (15). Optionally, a second pressure sensor (24) can be used to monitor the fluid pressure at the pump exit to provide an additional input for the controller (21).

    摘要: An enclosure for a dry-type transformer includes a bottom wall, a plurality of sidewalls coupled to and extending from the bottom wall, and a top wall coupled to the sidewalls so as to be spaced from the bottom wall. The top wall includes an opening therein. The bottom wall, sidewalls and top wall define an enclosed space for housing a dry-type transformer. Pressure relief structure is associated with the top wall and has at least one flap constructed and arranged in a closed position, to cover the opening. In the event an arc flash occurs in the enclosure creating gas pressure in the enclosure, the flap is constructed and arranged to move from the closed position to an opened position due to the gas pressure acting thereon, permitting the gas pressure to escape from the top of the enclosure through the opening.

    摘要: Provided are various devices and processes that harness the inherent kinetic energy of a flowing pressurized fluid to drive a compressor to compress a fluid without any need for electrical or chemical energy. The flowing fluid flows over a boundary layer disk turbine, or Tesla turbine, which is mechanically coupled to a compressor that compresses a fluid. The flowing fluid may be a natural gas from a hydrocarbon recovery operation. The compressed fluid may be a vapor gas from a hydrocarbon production, processing, or storage facility. Harnessing the kinetic energy of the flowing fluid increases economic efficiency of the process, while also avoiding unwanted emissions adverse to the environment and public health.

At least one sensor is coupled in fluid communication with the network and derives a level of demand of liquid from the network.
