Der dritte Randabschnitt (16) wirkt als Anschlag, der ein Ausdringen der z-förmigen Schiene (1) aus dem Einschnitt (11) in einer Richtung (18) parallel zu dem ersten Randabschnitt (14) blockiert. Mit der Vorrichtung kann die z-förmigen Schiene (1) montagefreundlich und stabil befestigt werden. Die Vorrichtung weist nur zwei Bauteile auf und ist fertigungsgerecht herstellbar. Further, in some embodiments, lower support members adapted to provide stability to the wheelchair when it is in the standing position are retractable above the floor when the wheel chairs in the sitting position. The insert includes apertures and baluster catches through which the second end of each baluster connector may pass in a first position of the insert. In a second position of the insert the baluster connector second end is secured within the channel.
