According to some embodiments, a sensor device for determining forces exerted by a cyclist on a pedal of a bicycle is provided. The sensor device includes a plurality of sensors coupled to a substrate, and wiring coupled to the sensors and the substrate, wherein the sensors, the substrate, and the wiring are housed inside a pedal spindle coupled to the pedal. The sensor device may also be used in a system for improving a pedaling technique of a cyclist.

An improved mount for, and method of mounting an, optical structure is provided. The mount has a protruding member extending from a surface of the optical structure, a base element having a mounting structure for mounting the mount to another structure and an upper element extending from the base element having a first opening extending therethrough for receipt therein of at least a portion of the protruding member. The first opening defines first and second arms, each of the arms comprising a head portion and each of the head portions ending at an end. A second opening in the upper element extends through one of the head portions and the end thereof in a direction toward the other head portion, while a third opening exists in the upper element through the end of the other head portion in an orientation substantially opposite to and in communication with the second opening so that a tightening mechanism received through the second opening can be received into the third opening. Tightening of the tightening mechanism into the third opening causes the ends of the head portions to draw toward each other so that the first opening of the upper element tightens around the at least a portion of the protruding member.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tretlager- oder Radnabenlageranordnung (1) für ein Fahrrad, die zwei mit axialem Abstand voneinander angeordnete Wälzlager (2, 3) aufweist, die in einem Tretlager- oder Radlagergehäuse des Fahrrads angeordnet werden können, wobei jedes Wälzlager (2, 3) einen Innenring (4) mit einer Laufbahn (5, 6) für die Wälzkörper (7, 8) sowie einen Außenring (9) mit einer Laufbahn (10, 11) für die Wälzkörper (7, 8) aufweist und wobei die Wälzkörper (7, 8) zwischen ihren jeweiligen Laufbahnen (5, 6, 10, 11) des Innenrings (4) bzw. Außenrings (9) angeordnet sind. Um eine hohe Tragkraft bei geringen Herstellkosten zu erreichen, sieht die Erfindung vor, dass sowohl der Innenring (4) als auch der Außenring (9) beider Wälzlager (2, 3) als einstückige Bauteile ausgebildet sind, wobei der Außenring (9) als rohrförmiges Bauteil ausgeführt ist und wobei das eine Wälzlager (2) als Kugellager und das andere Wälzlager (3) als Zylinderrollenlager ausgebildet ist.

Device for quick mounting and removal of a pedal shaft from the lever or crank web (4) of a pedal assembly. As the surface (5) of the shaft (1) is smooth in the longitudinal direction, it can be lodged in a corresponding shaped recess at the crank web or lever end, making it easy and quick to fit or remove said shaft. Releasable holding means are provided (16) between part (1) and part (2) comprising the recess corresponding to the crank web or lever. Application especially for cycles or pedal-driven vehicles.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Getriebe für Elektrofahrräder zur Erfassung eines Drehmoments, mit dem eine Tretkurbelwelle beaufschlagt ist. Das Getriebe weist die Tretkurbelwelle, auf die das Drehmoment wirkt, eine zum Anschluss an einen Abtrieb eingerichtete Hohlwelle, durch die sich die Tretkurbelwelle koaxial erstreckt, und die drehbar zur Tretkurbelwelle gelagert ist, eine parallel zur Tretkurbelwelle versetzte Sensorwelle, und einen mit der Sensorwelle verbundenen Kraftsensor auf. Das Getriebe umfasst ferner ein antriebseitiges Sensorgetriebe und ein abtriebseitiges Sensorgetriebe. Das antriebseitige Sensorgetriebeverbindet die Tretkurbelwelle mit der Sensorwelle und das abtriebseitige Sensorgetriebe verbindet die Sensorwelle mit der Hohlwelle. Die Hohlwelle ist eingerichtet, mit einem Abtrieb verbunden zu werden, und das antriebseitige Sensorgetriebeweist ein Übersetzungsverhältnis auf, das sich von dem Übersetzungsverhältnis des abtriebseitigen Sensorgetriebes unterscheidet. A scooter having a rockable platform upon which the rider stands with both feet. The platform is attached by a chain to one-way sprocket wheels mounted to the scooter rear wheel rotating the rear wheel to propel the scooter in a forward direction as the front end of the platform moves and as the rear end portion of the platform moves down. The scooter has a position to allow the user to place one foot on the ground and one foot on the platform to propel the same.

A crank assembly (10) including a mechanism capable of connecting the crank arm (12) to a shaft (30) to drive the shaft in rotation in either a unidirectional drive mode or a bidirectionally driving mode, the mechanism being quickly adjustable between modes. A coupler (50) in the mechanism may be slidable between a first position engaging the crank arm (12) with a hub portion (36) fixedly mounted on the shaft (30) and a second position in which a unidirectional clutch (34) can operate to allow rotation of the crank arm freely about the shaft in one direction but cause rotation of the shaft in the opposition direction. The coupler (50) may be arranged to be coupled only when the shaft is in a selected angular position.

Drivetrains and frames for vehicles, equipment, machines, etc. Some embodiments of the drivetrains and frames are particularly suited for human powered machines, such as bicycles and exercise equipment. In some embodiments, a drivetrain includes a reciprocating crank coupled to a crank pivot. A lever couples to the crank via a lever pivot positioned on the crank. A lever stop cooperates with a lever guide surface to guide a motion of the lever as the lever pivots about the lever pivot. The lever and/or the crank are operably coupled to a drive pulley, idler pulley, and/or compound pulley. In some embodiments, a drive cable operably couples the lever and/or the crank to the drive pulley, idler pulley, and/or the compound pulley. In one embodiment, one or more pulleys couple to the lever's distal ends. In some embodiments, the drivetrain includes a wheel hub adapted to receive torque from the crank via a drive pulley.
