A mix on exit sprayer having a water tank and a body the includes a chemical cartridge receiving cavity. A pump move water from the tank to a mixing chamber and a piston drives chemical concentrate from the cartridge into the mixing chamber. A venturi style mixing element mixes the water and concentrate and the pump moves the mixed fluid from the mixing chamber to a spray wand from which it can be expelled.

An indexing mechanism for a fluid spray gun may include, but is not limited to: a first detent magnet including: one or more radial portions having a first polarity; one or more radial portions having a second opposite polarity; and a central aperture, a second detent magnet including: one or more radial portions having the first polarity; one or more radial portions having the second opposite polarity; and a central aperture, wherein one or more radial portions of the first detent magnet are configured to align with one or more radial portions of the second detent magnet having an opposite polarity to retain the relative rotational positions of the first detent magnet and the second detent magnet.

Es wird eine Lackierpistole (1) zum Zerstäuben, insbesondere zum druckluftunterstützten Zerstäuben, und Aufträgen eines Beschichtungsmaterials, insbesondere eines Lacks, beschrieben, die einen materialführenden Teil (3), einen nicht-materialführenden Teil (4) und eine Sende- und/oder Empfangseinrichtung (15) zur drahtlosen Signalübertragung aufweist. Für eine Erhöhung der Funktionssicherheit sowie eine optimale Bedienbarkeit im Umfeld der Applikation von Beschichtungsmaterial ist die Sende- und/oder Empfangseinrichtung (15) zur drahtlosen Signalübertragung von dem materialführenden Teil (3) beabstandet und dem nicht-materialführenden Teil (4) zugeordnet. Alternativ oder ergänzend ergibt sich eine erhöhte Funktionssicherheit, indem die Sende- und/oder Empfangseinrichtung (15) zur drahtlosen Signalübertragung nach zwei verschiedenen Funkstandards ausgebildet ist. Des Weiteren wird ein Materialauftragssystem mit einer solchen Lackierpistole (1) sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Betrieb beschrieben.

Applicant discloses a two part polymer mix for use in the aircraft industry that is applied with pneumatic mix and spray gun. The two part cartridge is used in the mix and spray gun so the mix is applied immediately upon mixing, but the two components are kept separated unless the gun is applying the mix. The mix cures to form a clear sealant that allows for inspection of cracks and corrosion beneath the sealant. It cures quickly so that the coated part may be further processed, for example in the assembly line during aircraft build. Applicant further discloses multiple spray gun systems for applying such a two-part polymer mix to aircraft parts.

A steam atomizing liquid spraying system which in the preferred embodiment includes a spray nozzle assembly having a central liquid passageway for coupling to a liquid supply and a plurality of spray nozzles each removably mounted in the nozzle body and having a respective central steam passage communicating with a steam supply. The spray nozzles each further have a plurality of circumferentially spaced liquid accelerating passages that communicate with a respective angled passage of the nozzle body which in turn communicates with the central liquid supply passageway for directing liquid into the central steam passage of the spray nozzle for interaction with steam directed through the central steam passage and atomization of liquid discharging from the spray nozzle. In an alternative embodiment, a single spray nozzle insert is utilized.

A system includes a production process information system configured to be installed within a service shop, an air supply flow meter configured to detect air flow to a first manual sprayer and send the detected air flow to the production process information system, and a coating material flow meter configured to detect fluid flow to the first manual sprayer and send the detected fluid flow to the production process information system. The production process information system is configured to determine sprayer usage parameters based on the air flow and the fluid flow.
