Abstract:
A temperature insulated packaging system includes a container having interior surface bounding an interior volume and a liner disposed within the interior volume and at least partially bounding a compartment configured to receive an item for temperature insulated shipping. The liner includes a first sleeve made of cellulose material and at least partially bounds a channel. The first sleeve has an outside wall disposed adjacent to the container and an opposing inside wall disposed adjacent to the compartment configured to receive the item for shipping, the channel being disposed between the inside wall and the outside wall. At least one insulation sheet is disposed within the channel of the first sleeve, the at least one insulation sheet being made of a cellulose material and having a plurality of recesses formed thereon.
Abstract:
A woven laminated plastic bag having features that further prevent leakage of contents out of the bag, or infestation of organisms into the contents of the bag is provided. In various aspects the bag can be fabricated from woven polypropylene and/or polyethylene layer which can be laminated with a film layer, can form a pinch bottom bag, and can have one or both sides include graphics and/or printing. The bag can also provide a top end and/or a bottom end either or both of which provide a discrete area which may contain discrete graphics and/or printing. The bag can also include a tape covered easy open feature that facilitates removal of tightly adhered sealing tape.
Abstract:
The present Invention teaches a new apparatus and process for manufacturing mesh bags using a tube cloth. The apparatus and process involve supplying a continuous tube cloth and at least one band with preprinted labels, propping up the tube cloth with a dynamic guiding assembly, attaching the preprinted labels to the tube cloth using hot melted adhesive or heat sealing methods and manufacturing a product from the tube cloth with the horizontal preprinted labels, and attaching plastic film to the tube mesh cloth. The invention also teaches a dynamic guiding assembly which can be used to punch holes on the tube cloth with heating press and avoid attaching of two opposite sides of the tube cloth.
Abstract:
A product tray (20) comprising a product pusher (10), wherein the product pusher (10) is formed from a length of elastically stretchable fabric or material arranged to wrap behind and to the sides of products (22) contained within the tray (20) to apply a resilient bias force to the rear surface of those products (22) contained within the tray (20).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an adhesive band system in particular for opening cardboard packaging, consisting of an adhesive band A provided on at least one side with an adhesive coating and having a support, wherein the support has a film and filaments extending in the longitudinal direction of the support, and an adhesive band B provided on at least one side with an adhesive coating and a film support, wherein the adhesive bands A and B are disposed one above another.
Abstract:
A slide-open package (1) of tobacco articles, having a parallelepiped-shaped inner container (3) housing a group (2) of tobacco articles and having a bottom wall (5), an extraction opening (9) opposite the bottom wall (5), two parallel opposite major lateral walls (7), and two parallel minor lateral walls (8a, 8b) interposed between the major lateral walls (7); a parallelepiped-shaped outer container (4), which houses the inner container (3) to allow the inner container (3) to slide between a closed position, in which the inner container (3) is inserted inside the outer container (4), and an open position, in which the inner container (3) is at least partly extracted from the outer container (4); and a coupon (18) folded about the group (2) of tobacco articles and located between the group (2) of tobacco articles and the inner container (3).
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing food wrapping comprises a step of unwinding a strip of printable material from a first reel, a step of printing and drying the strip, a step of applying RFID tags to the back of the strip of printable material, so as to be hidden by the print, a step of joining a tubular strip of material onto the back of the strip of printable material so as to obtain a laminate, and a step of longitudinally cutting the tubular strip. Transverse and longitudinal cuts produce wrapping formed by a laminate consisting of a sheet portion (40) of printed material and a film (41) of food-grade material, with RFID tags (20) arranged in between. A production line comprising an apparatus (5) for applying RFID tags including a plurality of labellers (12) displaceable within the width of the strip of printable material is also described.
Abstract:
A process for placing a tube spout fitment within a flexible pouch container is provided. The process can include providing a front panel and a back panel, each panel having a top edge, a side edge, and a bottom edge. In addition, the front panel can also have an aperture. A fitment having a fitment base and a spout extending from the fitment base is provided and placed through the aperture using a plate with a channel and a channel stop.
