Abstract: Systems and methods for managing, accessing and/or using a service supported by a computing device. In some scenarios, the methods comprise by a computing device: intercepting a request to access the service sent along with a certificate including a first tenant identifier (the first tenant identifier identifying a first business entity other than a second business entity providing the service); using the first tenant identifier to obtain permission information from a datastore (the permission information specifying which resources of a plurality of resources can be returned in response to requests from the first business entity); generating a web authentication token including the first tenant identifier and the permission information; and initiating operations of the service in response to a validation of the web authentication token.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lateral interference prevention module and method for a vehicle. This module includes a memory, a processor, and a communication interface which is configured to be communicatively connected to a related system of the vehicle. This module is configured to: obtain lateral interference-related information; obtain vehicle-related information; determine a pre-deviation direction based on direction information of a lateral interference, and obtain a pre-deviation quantity by means of querying a comparison table or calculation based on parameter information of the lateral interference and the vehicle-related information, where the comparison table reflects a correspondence between the parameter information of the lateral interference or a lateral acting force calculated from the parameter information, a vehicle speed of the vehicle, and the pre-deviation quantity, and the calculation refers to calculating the pre-deviation quantity based on the lateral acting force; and plan a pre-deviation path based on the obtained pre-deviation quantity and the pre-deviation direction, where planning the pre-deviation path includes determining a starting distance from a position of the lateral interference and a deviation trajectory within the starting distance.

Abstract: A user equipment in a vehicle (V-UE) may transmit ranging signals, for example positioning reference signals (PRS), via inter-vehicle messages. The broadcast parameters for the ranging signals, such as the timing of transmission, the bandwidth, or a combination thereof, may be adjusted based on one or more motion characteristics of the vehicle (804, 806). If high speed or large acceleration, or rate of turning, is detected, the rate of transmission and/or the resource blocks included in the ranging signals may be increased. By increasing the rate of transmission and/or recourse blocks in the ranging signals, other vehicles receiving the ranging signals may update the range more often and with greater accuracy for increased safety while the transmitting vehicle is traveling at high speeds or acceleration.

Abstract: System (1) for automatically recognising anomalous situations along roads travelled by motor-vehicles for intelligent motor-vehicle driving speed control (2) along roads. The motor-vehicles (2) are configured to transmit data allowing anomalous situations to be recognised along roads travelled by the motor-vehicles (2). The system (1) comprises data processing resources (3) configured to: - receive and process data transmitted by the motor-vehicles (2) to recognise anomalous situations along the roads travelled by the motor-vehicles (2) based on a recognition algorithm, - when anomalous situations are recognised along roads travelled by the motor- vehicles (2), generate associated alert events and compute reference driving speeds along the roads recognised to be affected by anomalous situations, and - transmit data representative of the alert events and of the reference driving speeds along the roads recognised to be affected by anomalous situations. The motor-vehicles (2) are further configured to: - receive data representative of alert events and reference driving speeds, and - use the received data to implement one or both of the following actions: ° inform the drivers of motor-vehicles (2), through automotive user interfaces of motor-vehicles (2) of the anomalous situations recognised along roads travelled by motor-vehicles (2), and ° cause current driving speeds of the motor-vehicles (2) to be adjusted to the reference driving speeds along roads recognised to be affected by anomalous situations.

Abstract: All example method includes receiving, from one or more sensors associated with an autonomous vehicle, sensor data associated with a target object in an environment of the vehicle during a first environmental condition, where at least one sensor of the sensor(s) is configurable to be associated with one of a plurality of operating field of view volumes. The method also includes based on the sensor data, determining at least one parameter associated with the target object. The method also includes determining a degradation in the parameter(s) between the sensor data and past sensor data, where the past sensor data is associated with the target object in the environment during a second environmental condition different from the first and, based on the degradation, adjusting the operating field of view volume of the at least one sensor to a different one of the operating field of view volumes.

Abstract: An autonomous vehicle (AV) includes features that allows the AV to comply with applicable regulations and statues for performing safe driving operation. An example method for operating an AV includes receiving, by a computer located in the AV, sensor data that indicates a condition of one or more devices in the AV or of a roadway on which the autonomous vehicle is operating; and causing, by the computer and based on the sensor data, the autonomous vehicle to operate in accordance with a maneuver by sending instructions to one or more devices in the autonomous vehicle, wherein the maneuver is configured to bring the autonomous vehicle to a complete stop. In some embodiments, the maneuver may be selected from a plurality of maneuvers in response to determining an occurrence of a fault condition based on the sensor data.
