Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Dosiermaschine zum Abfüllen von fliessfähigen Medien in Kavitäten (28) einer zu füllenden Form (26), erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen,dass die Dosiermaschine (10) wenigstens eine eigenständige Dosiereinheit (12) aufweist, welche zwei Dispenser (2) mit jeweils eigenem Antrieb (18) und einer Düseneinheit (16) umfasst.

An apparatus for manufacturing filters and inserting the filters into single dose capsules for preparing beverages comprises a punching and forming device for punching material portions from a sheet material and forming the material portions to assume the form of a beaker-shaped filters, an insertion device arranged in a distance of the punching and forming device along a work flow direction for inserting the formed filters into the capsules, a first transport device (175, 176) for accepting a plurality of formed filters from the punching and forming device and transporting the accepted filters to the insertion device, a second transport device (177) for accepting a plurality of formed filters from the punching and forming device and transporting the accepted filters to the insertion device. The first transport device (175, 176) and the second transport device (177) are movable with respect to each other. This allows for increased flexibility when feeding a plurality of filters of the punching and forming device to the insertion device. Furthermore, it allows for geometries of the punching and forming device and of the insertion device where the respective distances between neighbouring punching and forming tools as well as neighbouring insertion tools may be different.

Es sind ein Verfahren sowie ein System zum Verpacken von Artikeln (2) offenbart. Im Rahmen eines Schrittes erfolgt ein Absetzen von Umverpackungen (3) auf einer Horizontalfördereinrichtung (10, 20), mit der die auf ihr abgesetzten Umverpackungen (3) entlang einer Verpackungsstrecke transportiert werden, wobei im Verlauf des Transportes entlang der Verpackungstrecke Artikel in die bereits auf der Horizontalfördereinrichtung (10, 20) abgesetzten Umverpackungen (3) über einen Manipulator eingebracht werden und die Umverpackungen (3) sodann mit den eingebrachten Artikeln (2) von der Horizontalfördereinrichtung (10, 20) als Verpackungseinheit (8) abgenommen werden. Es ist vorgesehen, dass ein vorgegebener Verpackungsprozess (VP1) durchgeführt wird, bei dem die Umverpackungen (3) von der Horizontalfördereinrichtung (10, 20) über mehrere Shuttles (5) entgegengenommen werden, auf welchen mehreren Shuttles (5) die Umverpackungen (3) aufstehen, bis die Umverpackungen (3) zusammen mit den eingebrachten Artikeln (2) von der wenigstens einen Horizontalfördereinrichtung (10, 20) als Verpackungseinheit (8) abgenommen werden.

Apparatus (200) for opening the closure flaps (22-25) of a carton (12), for presenting the carton (12) for loading, and for closing the closure flaps (22-25) is disclosed including a carrier (202) which initially receives the carton (12). The carrier (202) carries the carton (12) into a carriage (226), with the carton (12) sandwitched therebetween. The closure flaps (22-25) are opened by a device (242) including fingers (254-257) which are pivoted to an expanded position after their insertion through an opening (27) in the closure flaps (22-25). An elevator (212) raises the carton (12) in the carriage (226) while the carton (12) is still under compression, with suction cups (56, 171-173) then being attached to the closure flaps (22-25). The carriage (226) can then be moved to a loading position and back where the closure flaps (22-25) of the loaded carton (12) are fan folded by a device (120). The elevator (212) can then be lowered where the closed carton (12) can be pushed therefrom.

A pouch handling machine comprises and a series of pouch related process stations. A reciprocating beams conveyor advances pouches intermittently along the stations. The conveyor comprises a left-hand side and a right-hand side elongated reciprocating beams, each provided along the length thereof with pouch retention members. A left-hand side and a right-hand side support member, each support reciprocating beams and form a linear guide of the reciprocating beams. A left-hand side and a right-hand side electromagnetic linear actuator are provided, each being mounted between the respective reciprocating beams and the respective support member to cause an intermittent reciprocating motion of the reciprocating beams in the longitudinal direction thereof. These actuators are linked to an electronic controller that is adapted to synchronize the motions of the actuators. A transverse motion mechanism causes a periodic transverse motion of the left-hand side and a right-hand side support members away from and towards one another.

A method and a coding line (128) for serializing a plurality of products in a coding line (128), wherein each product is packed in a cuboid box (114), is disclosed. Herein, the coding line (128) comprises at least one slide (132) and at least one main pusher (130) being adapted for jointly moving the boxes (114) on the slide (132) in a row of the boxes (114) through the coding line (128), wherein the coding line (128) further comprises at least one printing system (118) designed for printing a serial code onto each of the boxes (114), wherein the serial code comprises at least one unique serial number, and at least one camera (120) designed for reading the serial code printed on each of the boxes (114). The method comprises the following steps: a) retracting the main pusher (130) to provide an open space at an initial section (140) of the slide (132) in front of the row of the boxes (114), whereby the open space is filled with at least one additional box (136); b) using the main pusher (130) to jointly move the row of the boxes (114) on the slide (132) to pass the printing system (118), whereby the serial code is printed onto the at least one box (114), wherein the serial code comprises the at least one unique serial number, and the camera (120), whereby the serial code printed on the at least one box (114) is read, until a final section (146) of the slide (132) is reached, where the row of the boxes (114) is pushed from the slide (132); and c) reloading the coding line (128) by providing at least one further additional box (136), wherein steps a) to c) define a pushing cycle of the coding line (128). Herein, the serial code comprising the at least one unique serial number is printed onto a particular box (114) and, concurrently, stored in a database, preferably together with a further unique identifier (172) applied to a particular shipping case (166) which stores the particular box (114). In this particular embodiment, the method and the coding line (128), thus, allow tracking of a flow of the product packed in the particular box (114) in a distribution chain at any given point.

The means (16) for making and inserting the bag (13) comprise at least one operating unit for making and inserting the bag (13) which comprises, respectively, means (161, 161) for making the bag, means (162, 162) for inserting the bag (13) inside the external body (11), and means (163, 163) for conveying the bag between the making means (161, 161) and the inserting means (162, 162).
