La présente invention concerne un dispositif de soudure 10 pour souder des films 12 thermorétractables enrobant des lots 14 d'objets 16 simultanément à leur convoyage dans une installation 1 de fardelage comprenant : ‐ un moyen de convoyage 18 desdits lots 14, les extrémités du film 12 enrobant chaque lot 14 étant superposés sous ledit lot 14, ledit moyen de convoyage 18 étant apte à déplacer les lots d'objets dans le sens 28 de défilement des lots dans l'installation de fardelage et dans un plan de convoyage 20, et - au moins une source d'énergie 24 par radiation apte à souder le film 12 thermorétractable; caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen de convoyage 18 comprend au moins une fenêtre 22 apte à se déplacer avec ledit moyen de convoyage 18 et en ce que ladite source d'énergie 24 est fixée sur un support 25 placé sous le plan de 15 convoyage 20 et est apte à se déplacer dans la même direction que ledit moyen de convoyage 18 et de manière indépendante, de sorte à réaliser une soudure au travers de ladite fenêtre 22.

A wrapping machine for wrapping trayed food products includes a wrap station at which trayed food products are wrapped, a film dispensing station for drawing out film over trayed food products at the wrap station and a conveying system for moving trayed food products along a defined path from an input station to the wrap station. A controller is operatively connected to operate the conveying system, components of the film dispensing station and components of the wrap station. The controller is configured as a state machine with sequential wrap stages, where each wrap stage must successfully complete before the controller initiates a next wrap stage.

A control method for a packing machine (8) manufacturing packets (1) of smoking articles each containing two separate groups (4) of smoking articles housed in an outer container (2) provided with a hinged lid; the packing machine (8) comprises: a forming unit (9) in which groups (4) of smoking articles are successively formed and which comprises a hopper (30) provided with at least four output mouths (31) from each of which one group (4) of smoking articles is extracted; and a plurality of wrapping drums (13, 20, 26) each of which has a plurality of wrapping heads (15, 22, 28) which are suitable to receive groups (4) of smoking articles together with corresponding wrapping materials (5, 6, 7). Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Verpacken von einzelnen Medikamentenportionen in Blisterbeutel. Bei bekannten Vorrichtungen ist die Anzahl von fehlerhaften Blisterbeutels noch zu hoch. Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung umfasst eine Mehrzahl von Speicher- und Abgabestationen (2), zumindest eine Führungs- und Sammelanordnung (7, 17) zum Aufnehmen und Weiterleiten der Medikamentenportionen an eine Verpackungsstation (3), welche aus Verpackungsmaterial (34) einen Strang (50) verbundener Blisterbeutel (51) formt, eine Etikettier- bzw. Druckstation (20) zum Aufbringen von Daten (52) auf das Verpackungsmaterial (34), eine optische Erfassungseinrichtung (40), welche Merkmale der einzelnen Blisterbeutel des Strangs optisch erfasst, eine Auswerteeinrichtung (90), welche die zu einem einzelnen Blisterbeutel erfassten Merkmale mit Soll-Merkmalen vergleicht, und eine Lagerstation (60), in welcher der Strang (50) der Blisterbeutel (51) geordnet gelagert wird, wobei die optische Erfassungseinrichtung (40) zwischen der Verpackungsstation (3) und der Lagerstation (60) angeordnet ist.

Abstract:
An automatic high speed packaging machine (10) for wrapping packages (P) in polymer film (32) is disclosed wherein the film seal at the sides and ends of the packages (P) is made at a high rate of speed as the packages (P) travel through the machine (10). The packages (P) travel continuously in a straight lien through the machine (10). The packages (P) are delivered at the input end of the machine (10) by an in-feed conveyor (20) into a film inverting head (40) where the packages (P) are surrounded by longitudinally half-folded polymer film (32). Thereafter, the packages (P) are transported to a side sealing mechanism (50) which forms a longitudinal seal in the film (32) on the side opposite the fold. Finally, the packages (P) are transported to a travelling end sealing mechanism (70) where a lateral seal is formed at each end of the package (P) and the film web (32) connecting succeeding packages (P) is severed. The machine (10) produces packages (P) which have a sealed film wrap around the entire package (P). If desired, the polymer film (32) may be of heat shrinkable variety and the sealed package (P) may be passed through a shrinking oven to produce a package (P) having a tight "shrink-wrap" film covering.

An automated storage and retrieval facility includes an automated decant system for decanting cases of eaches received from manufacturers or others. The automated decant system includes a decant workstation which receives the cases of eaches, cuts and removes the packaging of the cases. Once case packaging has been removed, the decant workstation separates and organizes the eaches, and drops them into totes waiting beneath the workstation.
