Abstract:
The invention relates to novel mixtures consisting of at least two substances, one substance being used as a matrix material and the other as a material which is capable of emission and contains at least one element having an atomic number larger than 20. The invention also relates to the use of said mixtures in organic electronic components such as electroluminescence elements and displays.
Abstract:
Indane compounds of general formulae (1) to (4) and their pharmaceutical use, particularly to achieve mast cell stabilising activity and/or anti-inflammatory activity are discribed. In these formulae R to R may be selected from: H, halo, hydroxy, alkoxy, aryloxy, acetoxy, carboxy, cyclopentyl, alkyl carbonyl, hydro carbonyl, amino, amido, alkylamino, hydroxyamino, amine oxide groups, azo groups, cyano, hydrazino groups, hydrazide groups, hydrazone groups, indane, indene, imide groups, iminoether groups, ureyl groups, oxime, nitro, nitrate, nitrite, nitroso groups, nitirile, heterocyclic groups containing hetero atoms selected from one or more of N, O or S, aralkyl groups, aryl groups, mono and polybenzoid aryl groups, substituted aryl groups, thiol, thioureyl, phenylthiol groups, sulphonic acid groups, sulphoxide groups, sulphone groups, carboxylic acid groups of C1 to C10 which may be substituted or unsubstituted, alkyl, substituted alkyl groups, acyl groups, substituted acyl groups; where R and R may together represent a double bond and wherein in (CH2)n, n is 0 to 8.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an improved method of synthesis for Treprostinil comprising condensation reaction of compound (4) with a hydroxyl-protected alkynol (5) to give the condensation product, compound (6). Subjecting compound (6) to oxidation, reduction, hydroxyl protection and carbonylation, cyclization reactions gives the tricyclic derivative (10). Further reactions comprising reduction, hydrogenation and deprotection of the phenolic and side-chain hydroxyl groups, wherein the sequence and choice of reagents is governed by protecting groups, give the triol intermediate, compound (14). Cyanoalkylation at phenolic hydroxyl functionality and further hydrolysis yields the prostacyclin compound, Treprostinil (1) and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts with desired purity.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a refined and detailed molecular model of the α2β1 integrin l-domain, especially the MIDAS and to the use of such a model for designing novel integrin modulators, especially α2β1 integrin modulators. The present invention further relates to novel α2β1 I- domain modulators, which are of therapeutic potential. The present invention further relates to specific families of small molecule modulators interacting with collagen receptors, tetracyclic polyketides and sulfonamides. The present invention further relates to the use of such modulators for the manufacture of medicaments for thrombosis, inflammation and/or cancer.
