The invention relates to a method for the production of polyolefins at pressures of from 1 to 4,000 bar and temperatures of from 20 to 350 DEG C in the presence of a catalyst system, comprising an organometallic compound from the group of the metallocenes or the catalytically active iron, cobalt, nickel, or palladium complexes.
