Abstract:
Gegenstand der Erfindung sind hoch scherverdünnende Polyvinylacetale, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass deren Lösungsviskosität in 30 Gew.-%-iger Lösung in Methylethylketon in einem Scherratenbereich von 1 bis 100 s -1 um mindestens 30 % abnimmt. Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von hoch scherverdünnenden Polyvinylacetalen durch Acetalisierung von teilverseiften oder vollverseiften Vinylester-Polymerisaten mit ≥ 50 Mol-% Vinylalkohol-Einheiten mit einem oder mehreren Aldehyden, gegebenenfalls in Form deren Hydrate, Halb- oder Vollacetale, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Aldehydanteil innerhalb von maximal 15 Minuten vollständig zudosiert wird.

An object with a coating comprising: a) covalent bonds formed by reaction of a thiol group and a carbon-carbon double bond, b) covalent bonds formed by reaction of a thiol group and epoxide group, c) covalent bonds formed by a reaction of a carbon-carbon double bond and an epoxide group, said coating comprising a first primer coating and a second coating, said coating comprising covalent bonds between said first and second coatings, said first primer coating comprising covalent cross links between compounds, in the first coating the fraction (r3 = ta/tc) of unreacted thiol groups (ta) to thiol groups which have reacted to form a covalent bond (tc) does not exceed 0.11, wherein the half height peak width of tan delta does not exceed 30°C. Advantages of the dual cure composition is that excellent strength is obtained and that the second curing is slow compared to the first initial curing.

A novel fluorinated aromatic acetal polymer comprises at least one unit of A and at least one unit of B or C, or at least one unit of each of A, B and C and optionally further comprises at least one unit of either D or E or at least one unit of each of D and E, wherein the units A and B and/or C, and optionally D and/or E are linked together by single covalent C-C bonds and have the formulae (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E), wherein R A is H or C 1 -C 11 alkyl, or an aryl group that does not contain fluorine, and R B and R C are an aryl groups that contains fluorine. The polymer is prepared by reacting a hydrolyzed polyvinyl acetate polymer or copolymer with at least one non-fluorinated aldehyde component, and at least one fluorinated aromatic component. The polymer is useful is preparing a photosensitive composition which comprises at least one diazo resin and at least one such fluorinated aromatic acetal polymer. Such a photosensitive composition may be applied to a support to form an imageable member which may be imaged to form a lithographic printing plates.

The present invention relates to a light-sensitive composition containing: (i) at least one diazonium polycondensation product or at least one system that can be radically polymerised and consists of photo initiators and unsaturated compounds which can be radically polymerised or at least one hybrid system consisting of a diazonium polycondensation product and a system that can be radically polymerised and consists of photo initiators and unsaturated compounds which can be radically polymerised, (ii) at least one binding agent and optionally one or more exposure indicators, one or more dyes for increasing the image contrast and one or more acids for stabilising the light-sensitive composition which is characterised in that the binding agent essentially consists of units (A, B, C, D), whereby A corresponds to formula (I), B corresponds to formula (II), C corresponds to formula (III) and D corresponds to formula (IV). The invention also relates to the use thereof for coating printing plates. The invention further relates to printing plates which are coated with said light-sensitive composition.

A photosensitive composition includes polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), one or more synthetic resins, at least one cross-linking agent for the PVA and a sensitizer component comprising at least one gelling agent and at least one photosensitive organic compound chosen from diazonium salts. The composition is suitable for the production of rotary printing cylinders, in particular in the textile field.

Gegenstand der Erfindung sind niedrig scherverdünnende Polyvi- nylacetale, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich deren Lösungsviskosität in 30 Gew.-%-iger Lösung in Methylethylketon in einem Scherratenbereich von 1 bis 100 s -1 um maximal 10 % verändert. Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von niedrig scherverdünnenden Polyvinylacetalen durch Acetalisierung von teilverseiften oder vollverseiften Vinylester-Polymerisaten mit > 50 Mol-% Vinylalkohol- Einheiten mit einem oder mehreren Aldehyden, gegebenenfalls in Form deren Hydrate, Halb- oder Vollacetale, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Aldehydanteil zu 0 bis 60 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die gesamte Aldehydmenge, innerhalb der ersten ein bis zehn Minuten der Acetalisierung vorgelegt und innerhalb von 1 bis 30 Minuten vorreagiert wird, und der Restanteil anschließend innerhalb von mindestens 20 Minuten kontinuierlich zudosiert wird.
