Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmission are disclosed. The solu-tion comprises forming a frame for transmission, where the frame comprises a header section, a training sequence section, address and rate section, and a pay-load section. The address and rate sec-tion comprises an address field (400A, 400B) indicating the ad-dress of the recipient of the frame and a rate indicator field (402) indicating data rate mode used in the payload section parts, and a cyclic redundancy check field (404). The address field comprises a first part (400A) in the beginning of the address and rate section and a second part (400B) after the cyclic redundancy check field, the second part comprising a given number of the last bits of the address of the recipient.

Abstract: A wireless device receives a bitmap. Each bit of the bitmap indicates one of a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of a control resource set (coreset) or a second TCI state of the coreset, and each bit of the bitmap is for a respective repetition of repetitions of a downlink control information (DCI). The wireless device receives, via a search space associated with the coreset, each of a plurality of repetitions of a first DCI using an associated TCI state indicated by a respective bit of the bitmap.

Abstract: A sidelink user equipment (UE) receives a group wake-up signal (WUS) from a base station and decodes the group WUS based on zone identification (ID) information of the sidelink UE. A base station transmits a wake-up signal to a group of sidelink user equipments (UEs) and transmits zone ID information to the group. A group wake-up signal parameter is a function of the zone ID information. A base station generates a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) sequence, selects a port for a DMRS, and/or scrambles a control channel or a data channel based on a zone ID of a sidelink UE. A sidelink UE compares a zone ID of the sidelink UE with a zone ID of a neighbor UE and initiates a conditional handover to another cell when the zone ID of the sidelink UE differs from the zone ID of the neighbor UE.

A user equipment (UE) may determine a first code rate for a first portion of UCI and a second code rate for a second portion of UCI. Different code rates may be used to encode different portions of UCI (e.g., hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) bits, channel state information (CSI) reporting bits, scheduling request (SR) bits, cyclic redundancy check (CRC) bits, etc.). Further, a UE may select a group of bets offset sets based on a physical layer priority type and a UCI multiplexing type.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Wireless communications systems may support both access links and sidelinks (e.g., D2D communication links) for communications between one or more communication devices. Wireless devices may communicate sidelink control information in two stages, where first stage sidelink control information (SCI-1) may be transmitted via a physical sidelink channel and second stage sidelink control information (SCI-2) may be transmitted via a physical shared channel. In cases where sidelink communications use several (e.g., three or more) layers, the described layer mapping techniques may provide for robust transmission of control information, higher data rates, improved spectral efficiency, etc. For example, SCI-1 and/or SCI-2 may be mapped to physical channel layers by repeating the same modulation symbols across all layers, across groupings or sets of layers, across layers associated with each codeword, etc.

Abstract: Where large transport blocks are rate-matched and transmitted on each PUSCH segment using different redundancy versions (RVs), RV cycling with a small number of PUSCH segments might not cover the whole codeword, and/or rate-matching a large TBS across many PUSCH segments into the resource of a single PUSCH segment may lead to an effective coding rate of the self-decodable redundancy versions that is too high. To avoid these issues, the starting position of one or more RVs may be shifted by setting the starting position of a current RV to be the same as an ending position of a previous position, or by scaling the starting position by a value. Alternatively, these issues may be avoided by setting a new starting position for an RV based on the gap from the end of a previous RV to the start of a current RV.

Abstract: A method is implemented by an ONU in a PON. The method comprises receiving an encoded DS PHY frame from an OLT, the encoded DS PHY frame comprises a codeword, the codeword comprises a SFC field and a payload, and the SFC field and the payload are encoded with a same FEC; decoding the codeword using the FEC to obtain a decoded SFC field and the payload; performing a first verification of the decoded SFC field while in a sync state of a synchronization state machine; and staying in the sync state when the first verification is successful or exiting the sync state when the first verification is unsuccessful.

Abstract: A wireless device receives a downlink control information (DCI) indicating a slot offset and scheduling transport blocks (TBs) via physical downlink shared channel (PDSCHs) in slots. The slots start at a first slot and end at a second slot, and each of the TBs is: received via a respective PDSCH of the PDSCHs, and associated with a respective process of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. The TBs, corresponding to the HARQ processes, are received in the slots. Acknowledgment information, corresponding to the TBs, are transmitted in a third slot determined based on: the slot offset, and the second slot.
