    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for retransmission of sidelink transmissions using network coding. A transmitting device transmits a transport block and a request for a NC encoding device to retransmit the transport block to a plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device transmits a packet encoding a plurality of transport blocks previously transmitted by one or more transmitting devices. The NC encoding device receives a plurality of acknowledgments (ACK) or negative acknowledgments (NACK) for the plurality of transport blocks from the plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device determines whether a respective transport block has satisfied an ACK condition based on the plurality of ACKs or NACKs from the plurality of UEs. The NC encoding device transmits an acknowledgment message to the one or more transmitting devices for at least the respective transport block.

    Abstract: Aspects relate to configuring a delay between a downlink control channel and a downlink/uplink. For example, the base station determines first search spaces indicating potential locations for a first downlink control channel and/or second search spaces indicating potential locations for a second downlink control channel. The base station configures and transmits first delays and/or second delays. Each first delay indicates a respective time delay between a resource location of the first downlink control channel and a resource location of a downlink data associated with the first downlink control channel and is configured for a respective one of the first search spaces. Each second delay indicates a respective time delay between a resource location of the second downlink control channel and a resource location of an uplink data associated with the second downlink control channel and is configured for a respective one of the second search spaces.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a method for small data transmission (SDT) are provided. The method includes receiving a Radio Resource Control (RRC) release message from a Base Station (BS), the RRC release message indicating an SDT configuration including a Configured Grant (CG) configuration and a timer; initiating a transmission on an Uplink (UL) resource while the UE is in an RRC_INACTIVE state, the UL resource being either configured by the CG configuration or scheduled by a UL grant from the BS; starting or restarting the timer after initiating the transmission; and monitoring a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) addressed to a specific Radio Network Temporary Identifier (RNTI) on a specific search space while the timer is running.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method and apparatus of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system are provided. A method of operating a UE includes receiving a set of configurations; determining, based on the set of configurations, a number (i) of sidelink synchronization signals and physical sidelink broadcast channel (S-SS/PSBCH) blocks to transmit in a period; and determining, based on the set of configurations, a transmission window for transmitting the S-SS/PSBCH blocks in the period. The method further includes determining a set of candidate slots for transmitting the S-SS/PSBCH blocks in the transmission window; performing channel access procedures before the set of candidate slots for transmitting the S-SS/PSBCH blocks in the transmission window; and transmitting, to another UE, the S-SS/PSBCH blocks over a sidelink channel with shared channel access, upon successfully performing the channel access procedures.
