Abstract: According to some embodiments, a method is performed by an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) node in dual connectivity where an IAB-MT is connected to two IAB parents and two IAB donors. The method comprises: obtaining (1212) a semi-static flexible resource configuration from an IAB donor; obtaining (1214) a first uplink/downlink resource indication for a semi-statically configured flexible resource from a first IAB parent and a second uplink/downlink resource indication from a second IAB parent; obtaining (1216) a priority associated with the first IAB parent and a priority associated with the second IAB parent; determining (1218) the first and second uplink/downlink resource indications conflict; selecting (1220) one of the first and second uplink/downlink resource indications based on the priority associated with the first and second IAB parents; and communicating (1222) with the two IAB parents according to the selected uplink/downlink resource indication.

Abstract: Systems and methods for triggering and reporting a Subcarrier Spacing (SCS) change in a wireless communication system are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device for wireless communication device triggered subcarrier spacing (SCS) change comprises monitoring a status of one or more SCSs at the wireless communication device and sending a SCS change request to a network node based on the monitored status. In this manner, a fast SCS switch triggered by wireless communication device can be achieved.

Abstract: Il existe différentes techniques d'allocation de canaux de fréquence pour la transmission. Ces techniques d'allocation de canaux de fréquences ne tiennent pas explicitement compte de la position des équipements terminaux et des caractéristiques antennaires qui leurs sont associées. De plus ces techniques sont consommatrices de puissances de calculs importantes afin de pouvoir allouer les canaux de fréquences au mieux entre les différents équipements terminaux. Le procédé de communication repose sur la sélection d'une fréquence d'émission courante unique à l'aide d'une métrique dite métrique représentative d'un recouvrement de surfaces de captation. La métrique de recouvrement évalue un niveau d'interférence associé à un recouvrement spatial de surfaces de captation d'un premier équipement terminal et d'un équipement interféreur pour une fréquence d'émission d'un signal radio.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To support a reliable array response for wideband communications, a base station may configure a set of transmission instances for a set of signals distributed across a wideband carrier bandwidth. At least one transmission instance of the set of transmission instances may be configured in each sub-band of the carrier bandwidth. The base station may transmit the set of signals in the configured transmission instances to a user equipment (UE). The UE may receive the set of signals distributed across the carrier bandwidth and may measure, for the signals, a set of signal measurements corresponding to the set of sub-bands. Based on the signal measurements, the UE may determine a set of communication beams for the set of sub-bands. Using one or more of the determined communication beams, the UE may communicate with the base station in the carrier bandwidth.

Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein enable a base station to configure a CSI-RS resource set with one or more parameters that are linked to one or more parameters of least one of a message that triggers CSI-RS monitoring, a physical channel associated with the CSI-RS monitoring, or an uplink reference signal associated with the CSI-RS monitoring. This allows the one or more parameters of the CSI-RS resource set to be dynamically set and/or adjusted based at least in part on the one or more parameters to which the one or more parameters of the CSI-RS resource set are linked. As a result, scheduling flexibility for beam management, downlink communications, and/or uplink communications may be increased. This may reduce delays and increase network speed, reliability, and/or beam management efficiency. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods and systems for selecting different sets of antenna ports of a UE during base station-to-UE communication are provided. The method includes obtaining information associated with sets of antenna ports including first and second set of antenna ports that correspond with a first and second antenna panels, respectively. The method also includes selecting a target set of antenna ports of the sets of antenna ports based on a determination that information associated with the target set of antenna ports satisfies a set of criteria and configuring UE configuration parameters associated with the target set of antenna ports to associate an uplink transmission with a set of channel layers associated with the target set of antenna ports in response to a selection of the target set of antenna ports. The method also includes sending the uplink transmission to a base station (BS) via the set of channel layers.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a UE transmits an indication of capability of the UE to support one or more reference signal (RS) types as a quasi co-location (QCL) source RS for one or more transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states. A base station receives the indication, and determine a TCI state with a QCL source RS based on the indication of the UE capability. The base station transmits, to the UE, a designation of the TCI state with the QCL source RS associated with one or more scheduled communications.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program is described comprising: obtaining first channel measurement data for a primary component carrier used for communications between a device and a network node of a mobile communication system; providing the first channel measurement data as an input to an algorithm to obtain a first embedding output; comparing the first embedding output with embedding outputs of a plurality of reference channel measurement data input to said algorithm to identify a closest reference channel measurement data to the first channel measurement data; identifying a set of reference channel information associated with the identified closest reference channel measurement data, wherein the identified set of reference channel information comprises a carrier aggregation policy defining one or more secondary communication channels; and setting a carrier aggregation policy for the primary component carrier for communications between the device and the network node of the mobile communication system in accordance with the carrier aggregation policy of the identified set of reference channel measurement data.
