Abstract: Technologies are provided for generation of points of insertion of directed content into a video asset. In some embodiments, multiple time offsets within an interval spanned by the video asset can be determined using audio data corresponding to the video asset. A time offset defines a boundary between first and second segments of the video asset. Using image data corresponding to the video asset, respective pairs of video clips for the multiple time offsets can be generated. Visual features, aural features, and language features pertaining to the respective pairs of video clips can then be generated. Scores for the multiple time offsets can be generated using the visual features, the aural features, and the language features. A score represents an assessment of suitability to insert directed content into the video asset at a time offset. A file that contains specific time offsets can be generated.

Abstract: Systems and methods of restricting storage of data received in content requests include a data processing system obtaining a public encryption key for a resource provider. The data processing system can receive a content request from an information resource of the resource provider running on a client device. The request can include one or more key values corresponding to one or more data keys. The data processing system can identify a data key using an encryption policy specific to the resource provider, and encrypt the key value using the public encryption key. The data processing system can store the key value in encrypted form. The data processing system can generate, using the key value in encrypted form, a data report, and provide access to the data report.

Abstract: Various arrangements for performing dynamic content insertion are presented. A user profile may be identified as active at a television receiver based on the user profile being mapped to a current television viewing session. A plurality of content items that have been output for presentation while the user profile is active may be tracked across a plurality of television viewing sessions. A set of insertion rules may be evaluated that are mapped to a content item. The content item may be determined to have met an output threshold for the user profile. An alternative piece of content may be selected for insertion based on the set of insertion rules and determining that the content item has met the output threshold for the user profile. The television receiver may be triggered to substitute the alternative content item into a television channel stream to replace the content item.

Abstract: An automated system/method for identifying and enabling viewer selection/purchase of products or services associated with digital content presented on a display device. Products within the digital content are identified and existing product placement data is ascertained. For products that do not include such data, other methodologies, with the assistance of third-party servers, are employed to assess identity and purchase availability. Viewer input designate products to assess or products can be automatically assessed. Viewers initiate purchase of identified products via the display device or other electronic devices controlled by viewers, such as via viewers' smart phones. Various techniques for selecting products for purchases are employed including employing 3D codes (e.g., QR codes) alongside presented products to enable other portable electronic devices to facilitate purchase. Abstract: Methods and apparatus to identify streaming sessions are disclosed. The associator is to compare the identifier and the time to a streaming session log from a streaming service provider, identify a streaming session in which the advertisement associated with the identifier was presented at the time based on the comparison, and associate a panelist identifier corresponding to the media presentation device with a streaming session identifier corresponding to the streaming session.
