摘要: A method and system for audio mixing in a teleconference using a Session Description Protocol (SDP) and Real-time Transport Protocol (RTP) signaling of audio mixing gain is provided. The method includes receiving an input audio stream from a 360-degree video/audio stream that includes an audio mixing gain which includes audio gain from the input audio stream and audio gain from overlay audio streams, declaring a RTP header extension for the input audio stream using the SDP, the RTP header extension, and signaling the audio mixing gain based on a single attribute of the SDP using the RTP header extension. An element of the RTP header extension may include an element identifier, a length of an extension element, and a magnitude of the audio mixing gain of the RTP header extension. The RTP header extension may use a one-byte or two-byte header extension format which is declared using the SDP.

摘要: In various embodiments, a media delivery application transmits encoded chunks of a media title to a playback application. In operation, the media delivery application receives, via a media channel, an encoded chunk request that has been transmitted over a TCP connection. The media delivery application also receives, via a side channel, a pacing specification that is associated with the encoded chunk request and has been transmitted over the TCP connection. As per the encoded chunk request, the media delivery application retrieves encoded chunk content. The media delivery application sets a parameter associated with the TCP connection equal to a parameter value based on the pacing specification. Subsequently, the media delivery application causes TCP segments corresponding to the encoded chunk content to be transmitted, via the media channel, over the TCP connection in accordance with the first parameter value.

The method includes transmitting the encoded segment to a remote device (10).

The method may include appending the one or more ad media segments to a first MSE source buffer based on a first timing model and chaining the one or more live media segments to the one or more ad media segments by appending the one or more live media segments to the first buffer based on a second timing model. The one or more ad media segments may be dispatched and the one or more live media segments based on the first timing model and the second timing model.

摘要: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for adjusting an encoding timing or a decoding timing in a manner that minimizes disruption of ongoing uplink or downlink traffic. Some aspects more specifically relate to decoupling adjustment of the encoding timing and adjustment the decoding timing to enable independent adjustment of the encoding timing or the decoding timing. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may perform adjustment of the encoding timing, relative to an active time indicated by a discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration, at a time at which uplink traffic is absent. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may perform adjustment of the decoding timing, relative to an active time indicated by a DRX configuration, at a time at which downlink traffic is absent. Accordingly, upon receiving a DRX configuration, the UE may wait until a period in which uplink traffic or downlink traffic is absent to perform a timing adjustment.
