Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of drying a material, comprising the steps of: providing a gaseous atmosphere with superheated steam in a housing, transporting a material into the housing, drying the material in the gaseous atmosphere, transporting the dried material out of the housing, and extracting from the gaseous atmosphere volatile substances which escape from the material into the gaseous atmosphere, especially flavours as well as to an apparatus for drying the extruded material.
Abstract:
An apparatus (1) for the thermal treatment of food products, comprises a box-shaped body (2) which extends along a longitudinal direction (L) for a predetermined length between a first divider (3) and a second divider (4), a conveyor (5) adapted to move the products to treat inside the box-shaped body (2) according to a direction parallel to the longitudinal direction (L) and according to a direction of movement (S), and blowing members (6) configured to generate a main air flow (F) inside the box-shaped body (2). In particular, the apparatus comprises temperature adjustment means (7) configured to adjust the temperature of the air flow, and at least one dehumidifier (8) configured to dehumidify the same air flow. A further object of the present patent application is also a process for the thermal treatment of food products implemented by the aforementioned apparatus.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for tempering components, e.g. semi-conductor circuits and the like, whereby components are conveyed on carriers through an entrance slit into a tempering housing provided with a tempering device and outwardly transported through an outlet slit positioned opposite the inlet slit. The carriers are received by a feeder in a housing which is provided with adjacent holders. After the first holder has been charged, said feeders are shoved gradually in a single from an initial position into a receiving position whereby the individual holders are subsequently charged one after the other. After all the holders have been charged, the feeder filled is pushed back rapidly from the final position thus attained in an opposite direction to return to an initial position. Inward conveyance of a carrier occurs through the inlet slit and, when the feeder is full, the transport out of the first tempered carrier in the feeder occurs through the outlet slit. Sequential outward conveyance of individual feeder pertaining to the hoppers occurs in addition to sequential transporting out of individual tempered carriers. A tempered carrier is replaced by a non-tempered carrier and the residence time of the carrier in the feeder is the same for all carriers and corresponding to the period of time between the two returns, until all the holders of the feeder have attained their final position and are re-charged. Return of the feeder to an initial position reinitiates the gradual charging of said feeders.
Abstract:
In a process and an apparatus for the treatment of flat-form material, especially of coated printed circuit boards (1), wherein the printed circuit boards (1) are subjected to various treatment processes in succession, such as airflow treatment, drying, cooling and the like, while they are being transported through a housing (7) in which the various treatment processes are carried out, there are provided in the housing (7), for the purpose of improving control of the process and increasing the adaptability of the treatment installation, individual treatment zones (12, 13, 14) separate from one another, and the printed circuit boards (1) are conveyed into the individual treatment zones (12, 13, 14) in groups, a separate treatment process being carried out in each treatment zone.
Abstract:
Vertical oven (51, 61) for panels, comprising trays (41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, …)for supporting mainly flat panels arranged in a multiple of two stacks (31, 32; 81, 82, 83, 84) circulating in opposed directions (e.g. the first moving in an ascending direction and the second in a descending direction), wherein the trays (41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, …) are arranged at a distance d to each other. According to the invention, the movement of the trays is such that at least one (42, 44, 46, …) every other tray (41, 43, 45, …) is withdrawn from the circulation, so doubling the distance d between trays.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a process for the continuous acetylation of wood elements. The process particularly combines a batchwise impregnation step, with a continuous reaction step. In order to realize this, a collection step is built-in, so as to allow batches of impregnated wood elements to be fed into a reactor in a continuous manner. Very high acetylation contents can be obtained, at a level that had not been achievable before in a continuous and non-catalyzed acetylation process.
