Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine a first sidelink pathloss based at least in part on a first sidelink reference signal from a second UE. The first UE may also determine a second sidelink pathloss based at least in part on a second sidelink reference signal received from a third UE. The first UE may transmit, during a transmission time interval, a first sidelink transmission to the second UE using a first transmit power that is based at least in part on the first sidelink pathloss and a second sidelink transmission to the third UE using a second transmit power that is based at least in part on the second sidelink pathloss. The first sidelink transmission may be transmitted at a first frequency and the second sidelink transmission may be transmitted at a second frequency.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein regarding power control and link adaptation for cross-division duplex (XDD). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a grant associated with transmission of an uplink (UL) signal. The grant may indicate a first set of resource blocks (RBs). The WTRU may determine a frequency gap (FG) between the first set of RBs and a reference RB. The WTRU may adjust one or more transmit (Tx) parameters based on the determined FG. When the determined FG is less than a pre-defined threshold, the WTRU may reduce one or more of a transmit power or a modulation coding scheme (MCS) level associated with transmission of the UL signal scheduled by the grant. The WTRU may transmit the UL signal using the adjusted one or more Tx parameters.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving multiple reference signals (RSs), each RS of the plurality of RSs being associated with a reflection from a respective reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS), of multiple RISs, or with a direct transmission from a base station. The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a RIS configuration indicating a set of operative RISs, of the plurality of RISs, that reflect an uplink transmission from the UE. The method further includes transmitting, to the base station, an uplink message according to an uplink transmission power, the uplink transmission power being based on an effective pathloss that is a function of each pathloss of a set of pathlosses respectively associated with a set of RSs, of the multiple RSs, that are respectively associated with the set of operative RISs or the base station.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an apparatus of a user equipment (UE) may determine a set of inputs to a neural network configured to predict radio frequency channel conditions or a user context associated with the UE. In some aspects, the set of inputs includes historical data related to a wireless environment, a communication pattern, or a behavior pattern associated with the UE. The apparatus of the UE may determine, using the neural network and based at least in part on the set of inputs, an optimal number of aggregated carriers to maximize one or more of a power parameter or a performance parameter. The apparatus of the UE may communicate using the optimal number of aggregated carriers. Numerous other aspects are described.
