Abstract: Systems and methods for activating or updating power control parameters are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises receiving an indication of activated Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) states for physical uplink channels or uplink reference signals via a first Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) message; receiving one or more power control parameter lists each comprising a plurality of elements; obtaining power control state information via a second MAC CE message that maps a power control state. The power control state information comprises indications each indicating a particular element from among the plurality of elements in one of the one or more power control parameter lists; and transmitting each of the physical uplink channels or uplink reference signals according to the active TCI states and the respective power control state information.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to downlink (DL) transmissions using various powers and assigning frequency resources based on the powers. An example base station may transmit, to a first user equipment (UE), an indication of a first transmit (Tx) power for one or more first DL transmissions to a first group of a plurality of groups. The first group may include the first UE. The first Tx power may have a first power level different from a second power level of a second Tx power for one or more second DL transmissions to a second group of the plurality of groups. Then, the base station may transmit, to the first UE, a first DL transmission of the one or more first DL transmissions using the first Tx power. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine a first sidelink pathloss based at least in part on a first sidelink reference signal from a second UE. The first UE may also determine a second sidelink pathloss based at least in part on a second sidelink reference signal received from a third UE. The first UE may transmit, during a transmission time interval, a first sidelink transmission to the second UE using a first transmit power that is based at least in part on the first sidelink pathloss and a second sidelink transmission to the third UE using a second transmit power that is based at least in part on the second sidelink pathloss. The first sidelink transmission may be transmitted at a first frequency and the second sidelink transmission may be transmitted at a second frequency.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating using power control parameters for multiple transmitter receiver point (mTRP) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) repetition. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration indicating at least a first SRS resource set and at least a second SRS resource set, receiving downlink control information (DCI) scheduling a first set of one or more PUSCH repetitions to a first TRP and a second set of one or more PUSCH repetitions to a second TRP, and transmitting the first and second sets of PUSCH repetitions using at least one of a first set of default power control parameters or a second set of default power control parameters.

Abstract: A wireless device receives message(s) comprising one or more configuration parameters. The one or more configuration parameters indicate a plurality of power control parameter sets, wherein each power control parameter set of the plurality of power control parameter sets is identified by a respective power control parameter set index; and comprising a pathloss reference signal update parameter enabling an activation command to update pathloss reference signals of an uplink channel. Based on the one or more configuration parameters comprising the pathloss reference signal update parameter, a determination is made, for a power headroom report, of a pathloss reference signal mapped to a power control parameter set with a lowest power control parameter set index among power control parameter set indexes of the plurality of power control parameter sets. The power headroom report computed based on a pathloss estimation of the pathloss reference signal is transmitted.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for partitioning a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) into multiple shortened PSSCHs (sPSSCHs) within a slot and selecting a transmit power for each sPSSCH. In one aspect, a transmitting user equipment (UE) may select the transmit power for each sPSSCH in accordance with an open loop power control operation. In some examples, the transmitting UE may select a common transmit power for each sPSSCH. Alternatively, the transmitting UE may perform independent power control operations for each sPSSCH and may cap variation in transmit power across sPSSCHs as a result of employing lower and upper bound transmit powers. Additionally, or alternatively, the transmitting UE may provide a default beta offset for the set of receiving UEs via sidelink control information (SCI) part one (SCI-1) and may provide beta offset updates via each SCI part two (SCI-2) transmission in the multiple sPSSCHs.
