摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a wireless communication device selecting an uplink (UL) power level for an initial message in a random access procedure. For example, the wireless communication device may receive, via a transceiver, an indication that indicates an UL power level calculation technique to use for a random access procedure. The wireless communication device may further determine an UL power level for an initial message in the random access procedure using the UL power level calculation technique. The wireless communication device may further transmit, via the transceiver, the initial message for the random access procedure using the UL power level. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for uplink carrier aggregation in which uplink control channel communications may be transmitted on a primary component carrier (CC) and one or more secondary CCs. Uplink transmission power control for the control channel communications may be determined based on a power control configuration provided by a base station. The primary CC and secondary CC(s) may use a same set of power control parameters based on being within a same frequency band, and may use different power control parameters when one or more of the CCs are in a different frequency bands. Power control commands to increase or decrease transmit power may be accumulated on a per-CC basis, or across multiple CCs, based at least in part on the power control configuration.

摘要: Systems and methods for associating power control states with Transmission Configuration Indicator (TCI) states are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless communication device comprises obtains information that indicates associations between two or more power control states and: (a) two or more TCI states, (b) two or more uplink (UL) channels, (c) two or more UL resources, (d) two or more UL resource sets, (e) two or more UL resource groups, or (f) any combination of two or more of (a)-(e). In this way, some embodiments herein enable efficient signaling to associate the TCI states with the power control states.

摘要: An end point (EP) device may communicate with multiple gateways via wireless signals, e.g. wireless broadcast signals. An EP device is controlled, under the direction of a control server, e.g., an application server, to communicate via a single gateway. The control server associates the EP device with a single target gateway and/or uses EP transmission power control training iterations to reduce the EP transmission power level until the EP device is only able to successfully communicate its wireless signals to a single gateway.

摘要: A wireless device receives one or more messages comprising configuration parameters. The configuration parameters indicate, for a configured uplink grant, a power control parameter set. A transport block of the configured uplink grant is transmitted with a transmission power. In response to an activation command being able to update pathloss reference signals of an uplink channel, the transmission power is determined based on a pathloss reference signal mapped to the power control parameter set.

A determination is made that an allowed total transmission power for at least one first uplink signal of the first cell group based on at least one priority of at least one uplink signal. A determination is made that at least one first transmission power for the one or more first uplink signal based on the allowed total transmission power. The at least one first uplink signals with the at least one first transmission power are transmitted.

An example method for facilitating a measurement of a propagation channel in a wireless network includes receiving first sounding reference signal configuration information associated with a first frequency location in the component carrier, receiving second sounding reference signal configuration information associated with a second frequency location in the component carrier, wherein the second frequency location is disjoint from the first frequency location in the component carrier, and transmitting a first sounding reference signal and a second sounding reference signal based on the respective first sounding reference signal configuration information and the second sounding reference signal configuration information.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for transmission of power control command are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method at a UE comprises receiving two or more TPC commands for PUCCH resources of the UE in a cell, each PUCCH resource is associated with a higher layer index value configured for a CORESET, determining a TPC command for each PUCCH resource according to the higher layer index value; and transmitting each PUCCH resource using the power according to the determined TPC command.
