摘要: A rolling vibration reduction device for an internal combustion engine (1) includes: a main inertial system configured to rotate with a crankshaft (11) of the internal combustion engine (1); a driving force transmission mechanism (3) configured to transmit a rotational driving force of the crankshaft (11), a direction of the rotational driving force being reversed by the driving force transmission mechanism (3); and a sub-inertial system configured to rotate by the rotational driving force transmitted from the driving force transmission mechanism (3) and to reduce rolling vibration of the internal combustion engine (1) associated with rotation of the crankshaft (11) by rotating in an opposite direction to the crankshaft (11). A torsional resonance frequency in the rolling vibration reduction device is set to a value higher than an explosion primary frequency at a maximum engine speed in a preset operating region of the internal combustion engine (1).

Portions of the power generation unit and the drive unit, which are close to each other in the width direction, are connected by a connecting member (M6) having an anti-vibration elastic body (32).

When there is a request for stopping an engine (12), the rotational speed (NE) of the engine is reduced first by a first electric motor (MG1). Then, the engagement of either a clutch (CL) and/or a brake (BK) is started, and the rotational speed (NE) of the engine is stopped by the engagement of both the clutch (CL) and the brake (BK). As a result of this configuration, irrespective of the presence of the compressive reaction force of the engine (12), the engine (12) can be stopped promptly without generating noise and vibration.-
