    摘要： An ozone and/or hydroxyl laundry system that injects ozone and/or hydroxyls into the chemical injection system in order to allow the system to inject ozone and/or hydroxyls as other cleaning chemicals are injected into the washer. This allows ozone and/or hydroxyls to be injected through the wash cycle rather than just during the initial fill phase and additional avoids the expense and maintenance of adding ozone and/or hydroxyls recirculation plumping to an ozone and/or hydroxyls laundry system. Accordingly, ozone and/or hydroxyl levels may be maintained at superior levels throughout the wash cycle.

The pump assembly preferably includes a fluid pump which in a cycle of operation draws the fluid through a fluid inlet and dispenses the fluid out a fluid outlet. The pump assembly carries a block of the solid material coalesced together and a rasp member, which during the cycle of operation, moves relative the rasp in engagement with the block whereby the rasp member disengages particles of the solid material from the block which particles drop under gravity downwardly adjacent the fluid outlet, for example, onto a user's hand as in the case that the fluid is a hand cleaning fluid and the solid is a solid soap.

Some or all of the releasable component is not homogeneously distributed throughout the dispersible component. The releasable component may be released prior to, concurrent with, and/or after dispersal or disintegration of the dispersing component. The appliance can be sized for convenient handling by a caregiver or user-e.g., a child-and for delivery of a pre-selected amount of the releasable component in a single use.

    摘要： The present invention provides an article of manufacture or package for containing and dispensing unitized doses of a laundry additive in article form. The package comprises a plurality of laundry additive articles (30), means for preventing exposure of the laundry articles to moisture prior to dispensing or use, and a container (10) having a compartment (25) and closure (20) for enclosing the plurality of articles in the container. The container can be a tub, tray, jar, bottle, pouch, bag, box or some combination thereof and will preferably be made from polymeric materials. Optionally, the container may have dividing means (28) for subdividing the container compartment into subcompartments so that the container can accomodate a variety of different additives in separate compartments. Optionally, but preferably, the container closure will have child resistant features as well as a window or other means for viewing the contents of the package when the closure is in a closed position. The means for preventing exposure of the articles to moisture may simply be a seal about the container closure or it may comprise separate a seal of each laundry additive article. Seals for the individual articles will preferably be a tray (32) with a recess formed therein for receiving the laundry additive article and a polymeric film (38) adhered to the tray over the recess to seal the article within.
