    摘要: The invention relates to a capacitor module (1) in which a first (10A) and a second capacitor (10B) are located in respectively separated, metallically conductive housings (5A, 5B) which are closed and sealed from each other. Said two housings are interconnected by means of a contact surface, creating an internal electrical connection. Each housing respectively comprises at least one first connection (2A, 2B) which is electrically insulated from the housing. The inventive capacitor module requires less screw connections as a result of the direct electrical connection between the two capacitors, and is thus easier and more economical to produce.

    摘要: An apparatus and process is disclosed for making a capacitor comprising the step of covering a first capacitor plate element (12) with a spacing material (30). The first capacitor plate element (12) and the spacing material (30) are encased within a second capacitor element (22). The second capacitor plate element (22) is drawn for reducing the outer diameter thereof. A multiplicity of the capacitor elements are inserted within a second capacitor plate connector (23). In one embodiment of the invention, the spacing material is a dielectric material (30) whereas in another embodiment of the invention, the spacing material is transformed into or replaced by a dielectric material.

    摘要: At least part of each of protective layers (1, 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 6c, 7, 8a, 8b) disposed outside the capacitance generating portion (2) of a film capacitor is of a substantially-unoriented polyphenylene sulfide film (10). The unoriented polyphenylene sulfide film (10) does not shrink substantially even when heated on thermal bonding and soldering, and on the contrary absorbs deformation of the other part of the layer due to thermal shrinkage. Therefore, stability of bonding inside the protective layer and dimensional stability of the protective layer can be secured. As a result, heat-resistance of not only the protective layer but the capacitor can be improved, and it becomes possible to simplify the bonding process and to eliminate the use of adhesive. It is also advantageous for further reducing the sizes of film capacitors.
