Thermoplastic powder compositions and related processes of the invention comprise at least one thermoplastic polyurethane having a melt flow index of at least about 8 g/10 min when tested according to ASTM D1238 at 190 °C and a weight of 2.16 kg; at least one internal lubricant in an amount of up to about 5 weight % based on total weight of the composition; and, optionally, at least one flow agent or other components. Such thermoplastic powder compositions are suitable for formation into a variety of articles using, for example, high velocity impact fusion or slush molding techniques.

A nylon compound is disclosed having good through plane thermal conductivity and improved physical strength. The compound comprises a combination of nylon, graphite, and long glass fibers. The through plane thermal conductivity of the compound ranges from about 1 W/m·K to about 4 W/m·K, as measured by the C-Therm Test described herein. This nylon compound is also electrically conductive, preferably having a surface resistivity ranging from about 1×103 Ohm/sq to about 1×105 Ohm/sq as measured by IEC 60093.

The compound comprises a polycarbonate and non-halogenated polyphosphazene as a flame retardant, along with talc, polytetrafluoroethylene, and optionally, a potassium salt of perfluorobutane sulfonic acid. The compound can achieve a UL 94 rating of V-0 at two different thicknesses of less than 1 mm.
