Abstract:
Method for producing epoxides of formula (I), where R stands for an organic group with 1-10 C atoms, by reaction of compounds of formula (II) with an oxidation agent, characterized in that the production takes place continuously in a tube reactor.
Abstract:
An improved process is proposed for preparing cyclocarbonate-functionalized compounds of the general formula (I) where R 1 and R 2 in each occurrence are independently selected from hydrogen, methyl and ethyl, I in each occurrence independently is from 2 to 50, m in each occurrence independently is 0 or 1, and n is = 3, subject to the proviso that the sum of all I values in the molecule is from 5 to 100, by reacting a chloroformate of formula (II) with a trifunctional amine of the general formula (III) characterized in that the reacting is carried out in an aqueous/organic two-phase system in the presence of an auxiliary base and of a phase transfer catalyst.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a blend containing an epoxy resin, a cyclic carbonate and a hardener containing a polyalkoxypolyamine, a further amine and a catalyst, a process for producing this blend, the use of the blend according to the invention for producing cured epoxy resin and an epoxy resin which has been cured by means of the blend according to the invention, in particular fibre-reinforced cured epoxy resins for use in rotor blades for wind turbines.
Abstract:
A process for curing epoxy resins which comprises curing epoxy resin compositions comprising a) epoxy resins and b) a compound of the general formula I in which R 1 and R 2 independently of one another are hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkynyl, or R 1 and R 2 together are a C 3 -C 11 -alkylene group; R 3 and R 4 independently of one another are hydrogen, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, C 1 -C 4 -alkoxy-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 5 -C 6 -cycloalkyl, phenyl, phenyl-C 1 -C 4 -alkyl, C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl or C 2 -C 6 -alkynyl, or R 3 and R 4 together are a C 4 -C 6 -alkylene group; by adding amino hardeners, 0.1% to 50% by weight of the amino hardeners being aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or aromatic amine compounds having 1 to 4 primary amino groups and optionally further functional groups, selected from secondary amino groups, tertiary amino groups, and hydroxyl groups, the primary amino groups in the case of the cycloaliphatic and aromatic amine compounds being attached as aminomethylene groups (H 2 N-CH 2 -) to the cycloaliphatic or aromatic ring system (referred to below for short as co-hardeners).
