The invention can also provide a much better suspension deflection than the prior art can deliver without compromising the associated motorcycle type vehicle's angle of lean.

According to the invention, the outer bearing shell device (30) comprises a monolithic bearing ring element (31), and the insertion devices (9, 10) can be effectively connected at least in a form-locking manner to the bearing ring element (31) and the transverse leaf spring (1) by means of clamping elements (35, 36).

The magnitude of a damping force to be generated can be made different between an instance in which directions of respective movements of the diagonally located two wheels with respect to the vehicle body are the same and an instance in which the directions are opposite to each other. Each electromagnetic absorber has a resistor that cooperates with the corresponding coil to form a closed loop. In each electromagnetic absorber, there are selectively established: a connected state in which one of the four coils and any one of the other three coils are connected to form a closed loop; and a non-connected state in which the one of the four coils is not connected to any of the other coils. It is possible to realize a state in which an appropriate vibration suppressing action is exhibited with respect to a coupled motion.

An assembly of integrated parts supports each chassis side beam on the spring beam and axle. A key assembly part is a multi-functional component having a central body portion mounted on the trailing end of the spring beam which has: (1) fore-and-aft cantilever style spring supports; (2) seats for the bight portions of U-bolts; (3) a laterally projecting shock absorber mount; and (4) a laterally projecting track and rod attachment bracket. The assembly also has U-bolts extending downwardly from their seats over the axle, a shock absorber attached to its mount on the lower end and a laterally projecting mount on the chassis side beam on its upper end.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur stufenlosen Regulierung des Aufstellens einer Tandemachse eines Fahrzeuges oder einer selbstfahrenden Arbeitsmaschine, die einen Fahrzeugrahmen und mindestens eine Antriebsachse 12 aufweist, wobei jeweils an den Enden der Antriebsachse 12 eine Antriebstandemachse 16 mit einem beweglichen Tandemachsengehäuse 18 angeordnet ist und über die Antriebstandemachse 16 das von der Antriebsachse 12 eingeleitete Moment mechanisch auf die in dem Tandemachsengehäuse 18 angeordneten Räder verteilt wird. Die Antriebsachse 12 ist dabei mit der Antriebstandemachse 16 über eine Kugelrampenvorrichtung 20 koaxial verbunden ist, wobei die Kugelrampenvorrichtung 20 aus einer ersten Kugelrampenscheibe 22 die mit einem Ende 26 der Antriebstandemachse 16, welches einem Ende 28 der Antriebsachse 12 gegenüberliegt, verbunden ist und einer zweiten Kugelrampenscheibe 24 die am Ende 28 der Antriebstandemachse 12 axial verschiebbar angeordnet ist, besteht und durch ein dem Antriebsdrehmoment entgegenwirkendes Drehmoment der Antriebstandemachse 16 der Abstand L zwischen der zweiten Kugelrampenscheibe 24 und der ersten Kugelrampenscheibe 22 vergrößert wird, wobei die zweite Kugelrampenscheibe 24 mit einem Kolben 30 in Wirkverbindung steht und durch die Axialbewegung der zweiten Kugelrampenscheibe 24 ein Druck mit einem Wert P1 in einem Volumen 32 erzeugt wird, wobei P1 an ein Regelventil 34 geleitet wird und das Regelventil 34 die Höhe eines Systemdrucks P3 oder P4 in Abhängigkeit von P1 regelt und ein resultierender Druck mit dem Wert P2 zur Steuerung einer Ausgleichsvorrichtung 36 zur Erzielung eines dem Aufstelleffekt entgegenwirkenden Ausgleichsmoments dient.
