The invention relates to a motor vehicle (1), comprising a plurality of actuators (5) for carrying out movements of the chassis (2), wherein the motor vehicle (1) comprises a control device (6) for detecting orientation information describing an orientation of the chassis (2) to be undertaken with regard to at least one target setting, wherein the control device (6) is designed to control the actuators (5) on the basis of the orientation information in such a way that the actuators (5) carry out in a combined manner pitching, rolling and lifting movements of the chassis (2) in order to orient the chassis corresponding to the orientation described by the orientation information.

A non-transitory computer readable storage medium is provided that has stored thereon, computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a computer, cause said computer to perform a method for controlling vehicle motion, said method comprising: comparing a measured acceleration value associated with a movement of a vehicle component of a vehicle with a predetermined acceleration threshold value that corresponds to said vehicle component, wherein said vehicle component is coupled with a frame of said vehicle via at least one vehicle suspension damper; monitoring a state of at least one valve within said at least one vehicle suspension damper, wherein said state controls a damping force within said at least one vehicle suspension damper; and based on said comparing and said monitoring, regulating damping forces within said at least one vehicle suspension damper by actuating said at least one valve to adjust to a desired state, such that an acceleration of said frame is reduced.

L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de pilotage simplifié d'amortisseurs semi-actifs d'un véhicule automobile. La principale caractéristique d'un procédé de pilotage selon l'invention, est qu'il comprend une étape consistant à caractériser les principaux mouvements du véhicule et à détecter le phénomène de battements de roue, à partir de données déjà présentes et disponibles dans ledit véhicule, cette caractérisation et cette détection s'effectuant, soit au moyen d'une estimation des principaux paramètres régissant lesdits mouvements et ledit phénomène de battements, soit au moyen de cartographies.
