Das Verfahren zum Bewegen eines Schwenktisches (4) in einer Vorrichtung zum Formen und Ausstanzen von Behältern aus einer thermoplastischen Kunststofffolie mittels Differenzdruck sollte so vorgenommen werden, dass relativ geringe Massenkräfte beim Anfahren der Endlagen des Schwenkens auftreten. Auf diese Weise sollte die Vorrichtung in einer hohen Taktzahl betrieben werden können. Es sollte keine aufwendigen Kurvenbahnen erfordern. Erreicht wird dies dadurch, dass während des Schwenkens des Schwenktisches (4) der Abstand zwischen Schwerpunkt (S) der Einheit Schwenktisch (4) mit unterer Werkzeughälfte und einem fixen Schwenkpunkt (11) in der ersten Hälfte des Schwenkwinkels (C) reduziert, in der zweiten Hälfte des Schwenkwinkels (C) wieder vergrößert wird. Diese Lageveränderung unterstützt das Beschleunigen bzw. das Abbremsen des Schwenktisches (4).

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Thermoformen von Behältern aus einer Folienbahn aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff wird vorgeschlagen, den Obertisch (14) mit einer formgebenden Werkzeughälfte (10) schwenkbar um einen Winkel zwischen 15° und 90° zu gestalten. Der Untertisch (6) mit der anderen Werkzeughälfte (7) wird axial bewegt. Diese Bauweise reduziert entscheidend die Verschmutzungsgefahr der Behälter und ermöglicht die Anbringung einer Abdeckung im Formbereich, ggf. mit einer Sterilluftzufuhr, um zusätzlich eine Verkeimung der Behälter zu reduzieren. Die Vorteile eines Form/Stanzbetriebes in einer Station mit leichtem, einfachem Entnehmen der pro Nutzen geformten Behälter ist gegeben. Die Vorrichtung erlaubt eine hohe Taktzahl bei einem leistungsarmen Antrieb.

A device for withdrawing and carrying away a moulding of thermoformed objects from a thermoforming single-station apparatus or press having a support frame, a feeder of sheet or tape material as well as a female die and a counterdie which are movably arranged one with respect to the other between a closed position in which the sheet or tape material fed by the feeder is thermoformed and an opened position in which the female die and the counterdie are mutually spaced apart one with respect to the other, the said plate device comprising driving means designed to move it along a straight path between a withdrawing position of the objects from the female die, while the latter is in its opened position and an object releasing position away from the die and guide means in the press arranged to engage and guide it at least along a lenght of the straight path thereof between the withdrawing and the releasing position, thereby preventing vibrations from being imparted to the plate during or immediately after withdrawal of the objects.

A differential pressure forming machine with upper and lower mold members for forming cup-like articles in a web of thermoplastic material includes a mold assembly in which two separable die members, when in their closed position cooperatively form an article defining mold cavity which extends through one member and into the other. The two die members, when opened, are spaced from each other by a distance greater than the depth of the formed article. An endless chain of carrier members is located with one run extending between the two die members. Each carrier member has an opening smaller than the circumference of the formed article. Closing of the die members expands the carrier member opening outwardly of the periphery of the die cavity and closing of the entire mold assembly in the forming operation effects a severing of the formed article from the web. Upon subsequent opening of the die, the carrier member opening contracts, gripping the formed article to convey it clear of the mold as the next carrier member in the chain is advanced with the web into operative relationship with the mold. At a collection station a discharge member operative with the plug assist of the forming machine removes the formed and separated article from the carrier member.
