Disclosed herein is a display apparatus that reduces a magnitude of a tension applied to a flexible PCB when a display panel is provided with a curved surface, and prevents damage of a driving chip. The display apparatus in accordance with exemplary embodiments includes a display panel configured to display an image, a source printed circuit board configured to control the display panel, and a flexible PCB that connects the display panel and the source printed circuit board. A length of at least one side edge of the flexible PCB is formed longer than a minimum length from the display panel to the source printed circuit board.

A touch panel can include a substrate, a transparent electrode base on the substrate, a first transparent electrode on the transparent electrode base and extending in a first direction, and a second transparent electrode on the transparent electrode base and extending in a second direction. A method of manufacturing a touch panel can include preparing a substrate and a transparent electrode base, forming a transparent electrode over the transparent electrode base, and forming an electrode material over the transparent electrode base.

The present invention discloses, a connecting device, a flat panel device, an image sensor, a display and a touch apparatus are described. The connecting device for connecting a substrate unit and a chip unit, provided by the present invention, comprises a first flexible connection unit, including a first wire for electrically connecting to the substrate unit; a rigid connection unit, connected to the first flexible connection unit and including a second wire for electrically connecting to the first wire; the chip unit is electrically connected to the second wire. In the present invention, the chip unit is electrically connected to the substrate unit via the rigid connection unit and the flexible connection unit in sequence.

A static electricity preventing circuit and a display device including the same are disclosed. In one aspect, the static electricity preventing circuit includes a power source voltage supply unit configured to apply a power source voltage to drive a display panel, wherein the display panel comprises a plurality of pixels respectively displaying images through light emission according to data voltages of image data signals. It also includes a signal wire unit configured to transmit lighting test signals for a lighting test of the pixels included in the display panel. It further includes a resistor unit positioned between the power source voltage supply unit and the signal wire unit and configured to discharge static electricity generated in the signal wire unit through the power source voltage supply unit.

A transparent conductor including a conductive layer coated on a substrate is described. More specifically, the conductive layer comprises a network of nanowires which may be embedded in a matrix. The conductive layer is optically transparent and flexible. It can be coated or laminated onto a variety of substrates, including flexible and rigid substrates.
