Abstract:
There is provided a tape comprising a polypropylene backing having a thickness of at least 0.0254 mm and a synthetic rubber pressure sensitive adhesive having a thickness of at least 0.0229 mm, wherein the tape has a ratio of pressure sensitive adhesive to polypropylene backing thickness of at least 0.7:1.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) sheet and a method of producing thereof. The pressure sensitive adhesive sheet comprises a sheet-form substrate and a silicone pressure sensitive adhesive layer formed thereon, wherein the sheet-form substrate comprises at least one polyolefin-based resin film having a melting start temperature (Tmi) of about 120°C or higher and a peak melting temperature (Tmp) of from about 160°C to about 180°C, measured by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a separator including a separator substrate composed of a polylactic acid film or sheet having tear strength so as not to break or tear during, for example, production or processing of the separator or winding thereof into a roll, and causing neither melt nor deformation at high temperatures more than 100°C. The separator according to the present invention is a separator including a separator substrate and a removable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on at least one surface of the separator substrate, wherein the separator substrate is composed of a polylactic acid film or sheet comprising polylactic acid (A) wherein the tear strength of the film or sheet is not less than 100 N/mm when the film or sheet is torn at least in a flow direction (MD), a rate of dimensional change due to heating is not more than ±3% in the flow direction (MD) and a transverse direction (TD), and a rate of dimensional change due to loaded heating is not more than ±3% in the flow direction (MD).

Abstract:
Provided is a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for preventing adhesion of aquatic organisms excellent in impact resistance and capable of preventing damage to or loss of its antifouling layer due to a colliding object. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for preventing adhesion of aquatic organisms of the present invention includes an antifouling layer, a base material layer, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in the stated order, in which the base material layer has an impact absorption rate of 10% or more.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adhesive gap sealing tape for sealing the air gaps between the edges of adjacent panels or structural elements against which they abut, the tape comprising a backing having an adhesive layer on one surface and an elongate strip of foam material extending lengthwise along the adhesive layer. In one embodiment, the elongate strip of foam material extending lengthwise along the adhesive layer is provided along a central portion of said adhesive layer. In this arrangement, the portions of backing which extend widthwise beyond the edges of the elongate strip of foam material are foldable to provide foldable flaps which are adapted to overlap and adhere to the respective sides of a panel or structural element so that the foam strip is securable against the edge of said panel or structural element and is sealed on all its sides.
Abstract:
Substantially branched alkenyl silicone polymer compositions having on average at least two branching points per molecule provide laminate release compositions that provide releasable laminates against methyl and phenyl silicone pressure sensitive adhesives.
