摘要: A two cycle internal combustion engine is provided having a decompression slot (56) in order to ease engine starting. The engine utilizes a transfer port induction system in which a transfer port (40) is formed in the wall of the cylinder assembly in communication with the enclosed crank case (44) cavity. Extending from the top of the generally diametrically opposed transfer ports (40) are a pair of recessed decompression slots (56) extending from the upper most end of the transfer port (40) toward the closed end of the cylindrical cavity formed in the cylinder assembly (20). Each of the decompression slots (56) have a circumferential width W which is substantially constant. The radial of dimension D varies generally linearly from a maximum depth at the intersection of decompression slot (56) and transfer port (40) to a minimum depth at the uppermost end of the decompression slot (56).

摘要: A vehicle system includes an engine, a transmission, an exhaust system, an adjustable valve, a sensor, and a controller. The engine is configured to propel a vehicle. The transmission is configured to transfer power from the engine to at least one drive wheel. The exhaust system is configured to route exhaust away from the engine. The exhaust system has a catalyst and an outlet. The adjustable valve is disposed within the exhaust system proximate to the outlet. The sensor is configured to observe human gestures. The controller is programmed to receive signals from the sensor indicative of the human gestures while the transmission is in a parked gear. The controller is further programmed to, in response to the sensor observing a first human gesture, increase an operating speed of the engine or adjust the valve to increase a noise output from the outlet of the exhaust system.

摘要: A control device for a vehicle includes an electronic control unit which executes electric assist of rotation of an engine crankshaft by a motor in association with engagement of a clutch, at the time of an ignition start in which fuel injection and sparking are executed with respect to a target cylinder, which has been stopped in an expansion stroke. The electronic control unit corrects at least one of the initiation timing of sparking which is to be initially performed in the target cylinder at the time of the ignition start and an electric assist torque which is to be used for the ignition start, on the basis of a combination of the relationship between an acquisition value and an estimation value of a torque indication value, and the relationship between an acquisition value and an estimation value of an ignition delay time.

摘要: When a request for re-start of an engine or a request for start occurs during inertial revolution of the engine by fuel cut at the time of request for idle stop, an operation of starting by re-start of fuel injection and an operation of driving the starter overlap, and a problem is likely to occur in wear resistance and durability of a ring gear 106 and a pinion gear 101e. Further, since collision torque becomes large, a collision sound of the ring gear 106 and the pinion gear 101e and a mesh sound which occurs at the instant of connection are likely to occur. The present invention changes a method of starter drive based on a behavior of engine revolution after a request for re-start of the engine or a request for start occurs during inertial revolution of the engine by fuel cut at the time of request for idle stop, and combustion recovery is implemented by an engine combustion recovery function 103d, or an engine state or the like at the time of occurrence of change of mind, in a controller 103 of a vehicle having an idle stop function.
