    摘要: The invention relates to the field of chemistry and, more particularly, to radically coupled PTFE polymer compounds which can, for instance, be used as tribo materials. The invention also relates to a method for the production thereof. The aim of the invention is to disclose radically coupled PTFE polymer compounds exhibiting improved resistance to abrasion for comparable sliding properties and to disclose a simple and effective method for the production of said compounds. The radically PTFE polymer compounds consist of PTFE powders which are radiation-chemically and or plasma-chemically modified, whereby olefinically unsaturated polymers are chemically-radically coupled by reactive conversion into a melt on the particle-surface thereof. According to the inventive method for producing radically coupled PTFE polymer compounds, wherein PTFE powders are reacted with reactive perfluoroalkyl-(peroxy) radical centers after a radiation-chemical and/or plasma-chemical modification are reactively converted into a melt by adding olefinically unsaturated polymers.
