Copolymers including dioxythiophene repeating units and no acceptor units allow the formation of electrochromic polymers (ECPs) with vivid neutral state colors and very colorless oxidized states that can be switched rapidly. The dioxythiophene repeating units can included in sequences where all of one type of dioxythiophene is included exclusively as isolated dyads or triads within the copolymer, or the copolymer can be an alternating copolymer with propylenedioxythiophene units. Other non-acceptor units can be included in the copolymers. The copolymers are rendered organic solvent soluble by alkyl substituents on repeating units. The inclusion of sterically encumbered acyclic dioxythiophene (AcDOT) units promotes red color while unsubstituted ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT) units promote blue colors, and their respective content can be manipulated to achieve a desired neutral state color. Soluble copolymers comprising at least 50% EDOT repeating units can be used in supercapacitor applications.

A composition which can be used as an organic water/oxygen barrier material, an OLED display device and manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The composition includes: 15-25 wt % of parylene, 15-25 wt % of polyvinyl chloride, 5-15 wt % of acetone, 5-15 wt % of trichloroethylene, 10-20 wt % of polyvinyl acetate, 5-15 wt % of polyvinyl alcohol, 0-5 wt % of SiO2 nanoparticles, and 8-12 wt % of an organic solvent, wherein all weight percent values are based on the total weight of the composition. When a water/oxygen barrier layer fabricated by the composition is disposed between a luminescent layer of OLED and a light extraction layer, water vapor and oxygen gas can be prevented from entering the OLED luminescent layer, thereby prolonging the service life of the OLED luminescent layer.

An object of the present invention is to enhance, in a rubber composition for tires comprising natural rubber as a principal component of a rubber component, a viscosity of the rubber composition in an unvulcanized state by providing the rubber composition with flexibility to improve workability of the rubber composition and improve a low loss tangent of the rubber composition after vulcanization while maintaining the performances both on snow and ice road surfaces and wet road surfaces. Used in the present invention is a rubber composition comprising a rubber component containing 60 % by mass or more of natural rubber, wherein the rubber composition comprises 8 to 40 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin based on 100 parts by mass of the rubber component and poly-p-dinitrosobenzene.
